####chapter 10: My heart doesn't listen to me

The next morning she left her residence for office.

While taking steps she heard a car honking infront of her gate.

She went nearer to the car window and the window was pulled down. It was Liam.

Meg pulled a face saying she doesn't need the lift and that she still owns a car.

Liam came out and dragged Megan into the car locking the door. Megan's face was worth seeing. She was angry and flustered.

"Why do you think the Earth revolves around you?" Meg asked annoyingly.

Liam was silent and didn't answer any of her rants.

A few minutes later he pulled the car in a different road which slightly frightened Megan.

She rudely dig her nails into Liam's hand which was on the gear and the car abruptly stopped.

Liam angrily came towards Megan's seat and hovered over her like a beast.

"Why can't you trust me? Am I not that trustworthy. Never ever did I indulge my name in any scandal and there's you who isn't ready to let me in her life when I am dying to see her all the time."

Liam shouted making Megan freeze in her place. Yesterday's behavior was still hurting Liam. It wasn't his fault that August likes him.

"Will you speak something?"

Liam calmed down coz he knew it was scaring Megan.

Tear drops poured down her eyes. Liam forwarded and hugged her. He didn't mean to make her cry.

Meg pushed him all her might but he didn't flinch. Failing to his strength Meg let him hug and wrapped her hands around him. She felt as if a blanket of warmth was hugging her. It felt same as her mother's hug. Comfortable, safe and warm. She needed this for a long time.

Meanwhile Liam rubbed her back with his hand assuring her.

He asked again, "What made you like this?"

"Why did you not offer me the ride back home? I didn't take the car with me. You were busy with your celebrity." Meg whispered sobbing.

"OK ok it was my fault. My fault." Liam was matured not to take the point to an argument and assured her to be his fault. He knew there was something more that was bothering her but he respected her privacy.

They broke the hug and deeply looked into each other's eyes. They was a lot that could be said. Meg's tears had already dried up. She was looking at the person whom she wanted with all her heart but was afraid of commitment.

Liam on the other hand wanted to open his heart to his lady in front of him but was lacking confidence whether it would be accepted or not. So he decided to nurture the relationship.

He leaned forward and kissed her lips softly. Meg responded by kissing him back. They fell again into each other's embrace.

(After sometime..)

Liam pulled the gear and rode faster since both of them were late.

Dropping her to the office, Liam waited until Megan entered the door and punched in her attendance.

She turned back to bade Liam a goodbye and hurriedly took the lift. Liam laughed at her girl's innocence. He got in when he received a phone call.

Liam entered the building since his aunt had called Jim to meet her. Her tone was a rather different this time.

He took the lift. On the way to Miss Smith's office was Meg's office too.

He peeked in to see her lady busy on her laptop.

He quietly sneaked in and stood in front of her.

Meg looked up and smiled sweetly. She looked sexy with her glasses on.

Liam smiled back.

"You here?"

"yeah aunt called me."

With that he left for her office.

As he entered the office, he was stopped with the question "Why are you acting dumb? Don't you know the reason."

Miss Smith asked with a serious tone.
