Chapter 9 How he met Thea

Arthur Salvatore Reeves decided to pay his lovely Aunt Margaret a visit at the hospital cos he's her only relative that lives around. he asked a nurse for directions and she took him there dazed by his physique.

" Hello, Aunt sorry I'm late. how are you doing? he asked

" it's ok. the most important thing is that you're here. where's your mom? she asked curiously

" busy. I'm her substitute since I'm closer. she sends her regards. I'm your caretaker for now. aren't you glad??. smirked Arthur

" that's very sweet dear* said Margaret who couldn't help but praise his attempt

" I brought you food. I know how much you hate hospital food. "

" that's so nice of you," said Marg

" I have to see the attending doctor"

" she might be busy. why don't you buy some more fruit" said, Marg

"ok. okay" said Arthur as he leaves

minutes later

Thea walks into the ward with her white coat with a pencil skirt and pink sleeves with a heel

" good day, have you eaten yet? any complaints??

" I'm better now that my nephew is here.

" Oh. how come I haven't seen him? asked Thea

she thought to herself, he must be a very wealthy man cos Margaret was a Salvatore. thinking this was her only chance, she planned to meet Him.

" I'll wait for him then there's something I will like to talk to him about," said Thea

" he went on an errand for me. he'll be back soon.

then she thought for a moment. maybe it'll be better not to be too ambitious. maybe she could meet him another time but as she was going to her office she saw this super fine young boy walking towards. as if in a trance she couldn't help but think: such a perfect body, muscly posture, white complexion, timid lips, sparkling blue eyes, tremendous height, domineering eyes, and boom she bump into him. Arthur has been a fast and attentive person who held her from falling. then she heard his voice,

" Miss, are you alright? asked Arthur with concern.

"Pardon me. are you a Salvatore," asked Thea disappointed in herself

seeing her face flushing with blush. he couldn't help but chuckle

" yes. do I know you? he asked plainly

Thea notice his tone and immediately got a hold of herself before she embarrass herself more

" not really. sorry for bumping into you. permit me to buy you lunch for a proper apology"

" it's not your fault. it was partly mine also " said Arthur

" then just buy me lunch to apologize"

" he scoffs then replied, done.

" I'm Thea Moore by the way"

" Arthur Salvatore Reeves. nice to meet you miss Moore* he smirked I've to go doctor Moore my aunt is waiting for her fruits

heaven just smiled on her she thought

" you mean Margaret Reeves?? asked Thea

" yes. are you her doctor? he asked.

" yes. I've been looking for her relative but found none. said, Thea

" Sorry, I'm late. is she alright? it's just a fever right?? he asked worriedly

" relax. she'll be fine. I need your signature for something. c'mon let's talk in my office. she directed him to her office to continue the discussion.

In Nina's house

Thea jumps up in excitement. startling Jane who was busy with her phone

" Thea, what's the matter? asked a startled Jane

" I met someone very special. someone who inspires me. said, Thea

" oh no . have you gone crazy like Nina?? please Thea don't act like Nina. pleaded Jane

"I'm not in love with him ok. I'm just happy he came along when I needed someone. he's very nice. I can't believe this. wealthy people can actually be nice, " she said

" of course. you may not be in love with him yet but soon you will be after all he's a boy and he's wealthy retorted Jane.

" what! can't I love him? asked Thea wondering why Jane is always against their love life

"I got you. so you have fallen for him already. gosh, it's too quick. said, Jane

"says the lady who lives with a man at home in fact her ex. " retorted Thea

" yes we live together but that's it. I don't have lingering feelings towards him. I think I've lost the will to love a man . " said Jane in embarrassment

" what did he do to you? asked a curious Thea

" can't tell you but take your time to study him first. trust and love aren't something to be trifled with.it can destroy a person speaking from experience. I've to go home" said Jane

" Okay. have you heard. from Nina?.

"no. have you?? " asked Jane

" she came home then I haven't seen her since then," said Thea

" she's your ten years old friend. advise her please* said, Jane

" okay. I hear you. c'mon stay some more " insisted Thea

" nope. you'll leave for work soon. see you girlfriend.
