Chapter 7 Nina's date

On a cool evening, Nina was ready for her date with Arthur Salvatore Reeves. she wore a silver body con dress with her Louis Vuitton heels and a pair of sparkling pearl necklaces around her neck with a purse to match. she makes curly wrapped hair with a broach. she is the center of attraction as she saw him staring at her without flinching.

Then she moved her eyes to admire her dream man looking so captivating with his wine-colored suit and a tie which wasn't knotted and his cuteness envisage her mind. To top it all he was smiling at her which made her feel fulfilled.

" you look gorgeous" he commented

" you look hot and sexy " she couldn't help but say it out

" In a suit? you haven't seen my casual appearance. I'm damn handsome in it," he said proudly

' no doubt " she said

" have a seat" he offered as he draws a chair for her to sit.

" Thanks, handsome"

The waiters served them. they laughed and ate together then he treated her to dessert. After eating to her heart content. he invited her for a dance

" may I have this dance?

" yes," she said shyly

"I want to know all about you" he requested.

"you know I'm a personnel manager"

' Ummm" he nodded

" I'm an orphan. I was raised by my grandma and I have always wanted to work in a multimillionaire company and here I am"

" that's some determination"

" it wasn't easy," she said

" so what happened to your parents? "

" they died in bridge due to an accident ten years ago" she lamented.

Such a pity. I'm sorry about that" he said with sympathy

" I've told you about me. now it's your turn"

" I come from an aristocrat family. my parents are alive and I have a brother and an annoying family brother. I spent almost all of my years reading, you know for degrees and knowledge and I'm still reading" he ended his long introduction

" that's a lot. I admire you" she said plainly

" I can tell you do" I mean he knew she was there because he's a wealthy man and a powerful one with connections.

" you know what? money isn't everything. the most important thing is your will to survive in this black and white world "he added

" you think so?

" I know so Nina" he corrected as she chuckles in agreement

" Nina, how did it go? asked a curious Thea.

Nina screamed in excitement as she reveals it to her.

" you're looking at the girlfriend of the richest bachelor. it was a wonderful date with him. we ate and laughed, then we danced, we kissed. we even went shopping" she lamented.

" that was a long date. anyways I'm happy for you girlfriend" she congratulated her

She was indeed happy for her but after seeing the kind of gift he bought for her, she was a little jealous but it was just for that moment.

"wow, you bought a lot. you have to reserve some for Jane you know how she gets." teased Thea

" I know. where's she anyway?? asked Nina

" she hasn't been visiting since that childhood friend of hers came " complained Thea

" I see. let me unpack. I'll call her later " she packed her gift bags inside because she was tired of the long date.
