Chapter 2 The Uncle of Her Fiancé

If Joanna didn't get it wrong, that Tim who slept with her was exactly the youngest child of Old Master Howard, the uncle that Owen usually mentioned. That was to say, he was Tim Howard.

It was said that Tim Howard was brought up overseas because he had a bad character and lacked discipline. He had once escaped from the army and had even become a member of the mafia. In short, he never became a good man. The Old Master Howard could not bear Tim's lifestyle anymore and made Tim responsible for the family overseas businesses. As a result, those companies all went to bankruptcy.

All in all, Tim was a total playboy who had a bad reputation.

Nobody knew why Howard Family should have such a member.

OMG!

How could she sleep in this man's bed?

And this man was her fiancé's uncle...

Joanna was so shocked at this fact and only wished she could stifle herself under the quilt...

Someone happened to add then, "Yes, can we know who that girl is?"

People's attention now focused on her. Joanna grabbed the quilt even more tightly and the only thought that struck her was that: she would not want anybody to know her identity!

Tim glanced at the woman who hid under the quilt as if she were an ostrich. And the corner of his mouth curved even higher.

At the door, there were many "reporters" with different cameras staring into the room with a bold expression showing that there were here on purpose.

"What? Should I report to you about which girl I slept with?"

That disdainful and casual voice sounded slow and calm although it was full of warning and threats.

"I ..."

That man who asked just now added unwillingly, "We are just a little curious about that girl..."

"Get out!"

Without any signs, Tim shouted, which made Joanna shiver under the quilt.

Tim Howard was exactly the man who was proud as well as wild, bossy, rude, and unreasonable.

Joanna had no idea what happened outside. It seemed that Tim called someone and after a period of noise, the room quietened again.

Gone were people's voices as well as clicks of the cameras.

Joanna waited for a while before she dared to look outside from a small gap. And she examined the outside several times and made sure that those reporters were gone. She jumped out of the bed and rushed to pick up her clothes on the ground.

And a pair of slender legs appeared in front of her.

"I was drunk yesterday and entered the wrong room...I want nothing. I don't want you to give me money or marry me... and I am not here to take a bite of you..." Joanna explained incoherently.

Only God above would know how blank her brain was now. The man in front of her was more than Tim! He was also the uncle of Owen!

And she should sleep with him...

Joanna only wished she had dug a hole and buried herself in it.

"It was an accident last night. We, we should forget that..."

There shouldn't be another person to know it!

"Well."

Joanna heard his sneer.

"Do you mean that? I've seen a lot of women playing cats and mouse." Tim bent down to look at her, with evil and impetuous intentions on his handsome and elegant face.

"You are smart enough. But your physical condition..." He glanced at her breasts disdainfully, "It is awful."

Joanna covered her breasts unconsciously hearing his words.

Satyr!

But Joanna struggled to calm down and thought she'd better leave this place as she could not bear the consequence of annoying Tim.

She made up her mind and held out her hand to show him the diamond ring on her hand which was given by Owen.

"It is a misunderstanding. Look, I am married..." She put on a sincere look as she said so.

And when he was looking at the ring, Joanna suddenly picked up her clothes from the ground and rushed to the bathroom nearby.

Tim smiled when he saw that quilt escaping into the bathroom.

A tall and strong figure came in the room after knocking twice in the door.

"Tim, I've checked it-You said right!"
