I rushed out of the room trying my best to calm down my heavily filled heart, whenever I spoke about my condition even to myself, I felt like a car has been ramped into my body. But when I teared up and he cleaned it up, I felt like, my worries could be taken away for once in my life. But, he gave me a light turned it off and only the device was left, I almost had hope until the words I didn't want to hear coming from his lips.
'He won't help me? Then why did I feel like we had a connection? Why did I see the worry in his eyes for me? I know I may have something tiny called a feeling for him but it isn't enough to call it anything. I will make sure he agrees to this, even if I will have to seduce him. Oooh! Miranda, get a grip of yourself, your desperation is showing all over you. I should go before he realizes that I have been in my room for too long.'
She walks away from the hospital hurriedly and as soon as she steps out, she covers her head with the scarf on her neck. She looks at her both sides before walking on, to the bus terminal.
As soon as she leaves, a Benz drives to the hospital and parks at the parking lot, a man gets out of the driving seat and opens the backseat of the car. Another man emerges from the car dressed in a tuxedo and a handmade imported shoe, it blinks in the sun. The man looks stunning with his curled hair resting on his shoulders, his refined face appears like one of a God and his broad shoulders meeting his thin waist and long legs makes him an almost excellent figure.
He walks to the other end of the backseat and opens the door, a lady with a thin figure and red colored hair cascading on her shoulders, she is dressed in a thin silk fabric, with her heels to match. It is as if they are going to a party instead of visiting the hospital. The man takes her hand and she gets out of the car and then she murmurs in a sweet voice,
"You are really too much, I only feel a slight headache, you didn't have to bring me to the hospital."
He nods his head but then starts walking into the hospital with her hand in his. A few steps forward and he leaves her hand and starts walking forward with his hands in his pockets. He stops walking when he doesn't hear her footsteps and turns to her speaking in a low but deep voice enough to scare a rat out of it's hiding hole.
"What are you standing there for? Let's get you checked up, you know I am a busy person."
She nods her head and rushes to his side and puts her arm around his but he removes it and glares at her and warned,
"Don't get too comfortable because I am being nice, know your place woman."
She moves a little away from him and looks down dejected. He sees this and nods in agreement. They walk on and enter one room and the sign on top of it is, 'Gynecologist.'
He keeps turning on the bed feeling restless, he then tries to sit up on the bed with difficulty but then decides against it when he wrenches in pain. He starts contemplating,
'Did I really do the right thing? But to be frank, I am afraid of what people will think and what that man could do to me if he finds out about my identity. If he doesn't know already, I would be surprised after all, his wife has been visiting me in a week. Yes a week,'
And then, he starts shouting,
"Yes a week, oh my God, my sisters might be panicking along with Amos, they might be looking everywhere for me. And here I am lying here comfortably, I should contact them. But how?"
'I should get out and get a phone. Boston, you shouldn't be this foolish forgetting about your family and thinking about a woman.'
He thinks and start looking around, he sees that a wheel chair is parked right under his bed and so he pulls it out. He forces himself out of bed and sits in the wheel even in pain, he pushes the wheelchair to the door. As he is about opening the door, he hears someone say,
"Mr. Brown, you are very lucky, and congratulations, your wife is pregnant."
A laughter of a lady follows before he hears a menacing voice respond,
"She's not my wife, remember that I am not married, she can only produce my child. Doctor, as you should know, no one on this earth apart from the three of us should know about this. That is why I came personally with her."
The doctor then agrees,
"Sure, sure, I already know this, she's not the only one you've brought here. I shouldn't have said what I said. I am sorry."
Boston shakes his head confused by what he just heard but still not sure if he heard right or, he was making assumptions. He shakes his head and decides,
'Maybe he isn't the one I think he is.'
But then, he waits for a while and he hears footsteps retrogressing from where he is before he opens the door and pushes outside. He sees the backs of the people and makes out the doctor from his dress and then the young lady. He looks up to take a good look at the other person and as if feeling his stares on their backs, they turn to look in his way. He sees this and turns the wheel the other way pushing forward. The man turns towards the doctor and inquiries staring at the doctor with a devilish glare,
"He shouldn't have heard us right?"
The doctor shapes his head with a shaky smile on his face and answers,
"Oh no, this section is for deaf and dumb patients. He should be either deaf or dumb to be admitted to that room."
