Chapter 7 Knowing about the research.

Hazel explained about the experiment conducted by her father to know the existence of aliens 2 years ago. She added, "though my father didn't get what he has expected, he hanged the photos on wall to remember and work more without leaving the work half done."

Rowen expected the reply but he never thought that the experiments to discover aliens are still going on. He was in his thoughts on this aspect when Hazel suddenly called him and brought him into reality. Then he explained few concepts and theories in genetic engineering which she asked.

An hour passed. But still they were discussing new concepts, as if two friends are preparing together for their exams at the critical moment. This was disturbed by a loud music. It was Rowen's phone ringing and caller Id showed, Edwin.

Rowen excused himself and answered the call. When he told about his whereabouts, Edwin asked him to return home. Rowen said that the work of knowing about the photos is half done.

But Edwin advised him to return so that he could have another chance to meet Hazel and know more about the experiment from her father if he is available. As it was convincing, he agreed and hang up the call.

Rowen approached Hazel and said that he needs to leave. She nodded and came along with him till the exit and said with a bright smile, "Bye, see you later." Rowen replied bye without any expressions on his face and returned home.

Edwin was waiting for Rowen at the entrance. As soon as he entered the house, Edwin dragged him inside and asked, "what about the photos? Did you find anything?"

Rowen replied calmly, "our guess is right. Those were the photos sent by her father in order to discover aliens. They think that the experiment is a failure. They don't know that we have received their signal. But they didn't stop the experiment. They are still finding ways to know about aliens and are more confident in achieving the goal."

Edwin was shocked by listening this and advised to inform the head in their planet. So they sent a signal describing everything and went to have the dinner. After nearly one hour, they received a signal from the head.

The signal conveyed to know every detail regarding the experiment and to prevent the progress of the experiment by using any means possible. It suggested to convince humans that there are no aliens in the space.

Though the aliens are advanced in few fields, their technology isn't highly sophisticated than Earth. Their technology doesn't include any defence techniques.

So they were afraid that if earthlings know about their existence, they would conquer the new place and take away their freedom as it happened many times on Earth in between many countries.

So they decided to keep their existence and identity a complete secret. When they complete their research on earth's technology and learn it perfectly to use it in their planet, they will completely disappear from Earth and never return to it. After having this particular protocol, they entered Earth and started their investigation.

When they received orders to stop the experiment on aliens, they decided to do it. As Rowen know Hazel already, it will be easy for him to get close to her and her father and can concentrate on experiment.

So he decided to take over the responsibility of stopping the progress of research on aliens. Edwin agreed to it. They finally completed their daily works and went to sleep.

On the other side, Hazel was amazed to see his knowledge in generic engineering. The points which he derived from his own thoughts will help a lot for research in different fields. Many of them are unknown to a great scientist like her father too.

When her father arrived home at night, she gave a brief note on what Rowen explained her. Even her father found that his thoughts are not simple thoughts but they are the principles which can change the future of bio technology. So she thought of learning more from him.

On the next day, Hazel went to her university after having her breakfast alone at her home as her father left for the laboratory early in the morning.

As she have habituated herself for this lonely life, she doesn't feel it lonely anymore. Moreover she thinks it as an opportunity to give time to herself so that she can cherish what she wants.

Her day went well in the university. But when she thought of leaving for home at the end of session and while she is packing her books, suddenly her classmate came to her and said that professor Chen is calling her.

Professor Chen teaches them genetic engineering. As Sterling was always restricted to herself and score good grades, professors know her well. Professor Chen was the one to inform Hazel about the job offer in the laboratory.Chen had many hopes on Hazel's success in it.

But she screwed it up. So she has already expected that professor would call her to discuss about interview
