Chapter 6 Meeting again to discuss.

On the next day, Hazel called her friend Aanya. After explaining about the interview, she said that she needs to meet Rowen to know more about the facts written in the report.

Then Aanya said, "Hazel, how do you believe in him? He may have written some nonsense. If he knows much about that field, he may work in it and become successful. Why will he come to me to join as an assistant in completely unrelated field?"

Though Hazel found it reasonable, she said, "I have thought about it but when I found some of his concepts in few gold standard books, I came to know that he is an expert in it. Even my dad recognised his talent and advised me to know more from him. I am just curious to know. By the way, today we can know about his talent if he explains, otherwise we can just leave it."

Then Aanya was convinced and agreed to meet. She said, "Okay, I will ask him and text you. By the way, I have a meeting with a customer at noon. So I will arrive at your home along with him by 4 pm, if he agrees. But I don't think he will agree to mer you as he is unwilling to interact with anyone. But I will try to convince him.

I have to make some preparations for the meeting. See you later. Bye." Then Hazel thanked her and she hung up the phone and arranged things for the meeting.

Then Aanya saw Rowen reading some files on his desk. She called him and informed him about the phone call of Sterling.

As Rowen was waiting for an opportunity to meet Hazel and ask about the photos, he agreed by saying, "I am free at that time. So I can come."

Aanya thought that he would reject the invitation as she expected that he knows nothing and doesn't like to speak much. But to her astonishment, he agreed.Then she thought may be Hazel is right in estimating him.

So she asked, "How do you know about genetics. When you ask me every silly thing in construction, I thought you are just a lame man who knows nothing. But I had never expected that you are more talented than my best friend."

Rowen ignored her shock and replied, "I am just curious to know about new things. So I learnt them on my own. If there is nothing else, I will leave. I have some files to check." By saying that, he simply left her cabin and went to his desk.

Aanya thought that he is just similar to Hazel, cold and aloof when dealing with her work. She smiled at him and concentrated on her work.

Soon after having lunch, the client came and she had a meeting, which was successful. When she was about to go to Hazel's house along with Rowen, her phone rang. It was from her mother. She excused herself from Rowen and went aside to answer the call.

After few minutes, she returned and told Rowen, "My mother asked me to return home. I need to go. I will give her address to you. Make sure to go by 4pm. I will inform her regarding this."

Soon after saying this, she gave address to Rowen and texted Hazel about his visit and left in a hurry to her mom.

Rowen took a cab to Hazel's house and reached within 45 minutes. As he is familiar with the house he went in and knocked the door. Soon the door was open and Hazel stood in front of him.

She was wearing a light coloured skirt hanging down her knees and a top with full sleeves. She was cute and simple but beautiful.

She said, "Thanks for visiting" and stretched her hand to shake hand in order to welcome him. But he didn't shake hand with her and gave a cold and expressionless look and said, "No need to thank. I came here as I am free at this moment" and walked into the house.

Rowen gazed at him as he gave her a cold shoulder even when welcoming him. In fact, she should be angry with him as she lost her job because of him. Instead he has a strange attitude. She went in by thinking about him being cold.

In the living room, Rowen's gaze fell on the wall hangings. Noticing that Hazel said, "these are some of my father's memories of his experiments" and walked towards the kitchen.

Within few minutes she returned with bottles of juice and handed over one of them to Rowen saying, "As Aanya likes juice, I have ordered it. Since she is not here let's have it."

She walked towards the study and asked Rowen to follow her. He did as she said. After finding a comfortable place to sit, he said, "can I ask you something about the photos in your living room?"

As Hazel nodded in agreement, he asked, "What experiment requires the use of such photos which has nothing interesting but just common lifestyle of Earth? As your father kept them as memory, it might be quite interesting. Can you let me know about that. I am curious."
