Chapter 10 Abduction

Margaret regretted drinking the cocktail without thinking. She pulled out the phone from her pocket to call the doctor of ST Group. However, someone snatched it.

Her eyes grew heavy, and she blacked out the next moment.

Two strong men carried her through the back door of the JS Bar.

Nathan nodded at Esteban and disconnected the call after receiving the news from his assistant.

Esteban's face broke into a lopsided grin. He couldn't contain his excitement anymore. Kendall shuddered at the sight of his friend, for he could read his mind.

"Nathan, your men are so efficient!"

Esteban praised and stood up to leave. He took the elevator, which only had access to the VIP members, to the sixteenth floor.

Nathan slumped on the sofa and sighed. "Does he think that I have opened the bar just for him?"

"Wow! You just found that now? You are a slow learner, my friend!'' Kendall chuckled.

Nathan pursed his lips and glared at him. "What did you say?"

"Nothing." Kendall's eyes lit up as he saw a beautiful woman on the dance floor. "Nathan, the night has just begun. We can't miss it."

He opened the door and skipped to the dance floor.

Nathan peered through the glass door and saw Kendall flirting with a woman. He kicked the table in annoyance and poured himself another drink.

The room unlocked with a click as Esteban placed his finger on the sensor. He pushed the door open and walked into the suite. His eyes traveled across the room. The decoration looked similar to that of a presidential suite in a five-star hotel. There was only one suite on every floor.

Nathan had reserved three suites for the three of them when he opened the bar. Their rooms were located on different floors as they respected each other's privacy.

Esteban's gaze fell on the woman who was sprawled on the bed. He grinned and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

Margaret woke up with a splitting headache. She heard the sound of running water and opened her eyes.

However, the pain intensified, so she squeezed them shut again. Margaret rubbed her throbbing temples and looked around. The strange place frightened her.

'Damn it! Has someone kidnapped me?' she wondered as her heart began to race in her chest.

The splashing sound of water in the bathroom sent a shiver down her spine.

She realized that someone had drugged her cocktail.

Margaret quickly slipped the watch on her wrist. The face recognition function turned on, and the watch turned into a small screen.

Margaret saw the figure leaning against the sofa. "Ma'am, please come and save me," she hissed through her teeth.

The sound of water in the bathroom ceased. Margaret turned off the video and slumped on the bed.

Michelle's face reddened with rage.

Every member of ST Group had a tracking chip nestled in their body. As the president of ST group, Michelle had the right to open the tracking system at her will, so she quickly found out Margaret's location on the computer. Meanwhile, she contacted Leonel, who was also a member of ST Group. He was carrying out a mission near Margaret's location, so she asked him to rescue her.

"You just want me to rescue her? Is that enough?" Leonel asked in disbelief. He couldn't believe that Michelle had called him to save someone.

"I want you to teach the one who kidnapped her a good lesson. People can walk without legs."

Leonel shuddered as he understood her threat.

Margaret closed her eyes and sighed. The miserable circumstance had forced her to seek Michelle's help. A single request for help would require her to serve an extra year at ST Group, which seemed more difficult than life imprisonment.

Margaret had no choice. She didn't know what might happen if Michelle refused to help her.

The bathroom door flew open, breaking Margaret's reverie. She clasped the water jug on the bedside table, waiting for the right chance to hit the abductor.

However, her heart leaped to her throat when she saw the man. 'Esteban! What is he doing here?'

Esteban walked towards her, wiping his wet hair with the towel.

His short, messy hair sticking at all ends accentuated his chiseled face. The droplets of water on his sculpted torso made Margaret's mouth water.

She wondered why the man had kidnapped her. 'Did he see my face?'

Margaret realized that this was a crucial moment of her life. She adjusted the mask, making sure it concealed every bit of her face. Margaret's heart began to drum wildly in her chest. She feared that Esteban would strangle her if he caught a glimpse of her face.

Esteban had walked to her side when Margaret was lost in thought. Her reaction confused him. Anyone would freak out if they woke up at an unknown place, but the woman was staring at him without a trace of fear.
