Chapter 9 Women Competing For Spenser

"She is Miss Betty Zhou! The daughter of the CEO of HY Group!" Someone from the crowd revealed her identity.

HY Group was a famous domestic company. But compared to Fang Group, it was a small company.

Vivian got infuriated learning her identity. 'How dare she even think to steal Spenser from me?' She glared at Betty Zhou. Betty must be out of her brains to even think of competing with Vivian! She had no idea that Vivian could ruin HY Group in no time at all.

Betty noticed Vivian's enraged stare. But before she could say something, another woman spoke, "Betty, who do you think you are? What specialty do you even have for which you think you can qualify as Mr. Spenser's wife?"

It was Josie Ji, the daughter of an army officer. Vivian's angry eyes shifted towards Josie. These women were either being dumb or were very naive. Why couldn't Josie worry about her own father's government position?

These two stupid women dared to openly compete against Vivian in order to marry Spenser!

Vivian's eyes narrowed as her face darkened with anger. Her inside was burning with such ferocity that it felt like it could burn everything around. If it weren't for so many people here, these two bitches would have died a miserable death already.

But that didn't mean she'd let them go away so easily. She walked up to the two women and gave each of them a slap across the face. "How dare you even think of stealing my husband?"

Just as she finished speaking, two consecutive slaps were sounded. Vivian felt her cheeks burning in pain. She stared at the two women in disbelief. She couldn't believe that the two women had slapped her!

Everyone was so shocked at the sudden incident. They looked at Vivian flabbergasted trying to grasp what just happened when Betty hollered at her, "So what?

Who are you even to ask me such question? Look at yourself first! You are just a woman abandoned by Spenser Fang himself because of such a slut you are! Even after what happened, you are still dreaming to become the young lady of the Fang Family? How can you be so shameless?"

"That's true!" Josie agreed. "How could you still want to become Mr. Spenser's bride after disgracing Ding Family? You are a shameless woman to engage with another man on the day before your wedding!" Josie sneered.

The two of them began gambling. They knew that if they could marry Spenser Fang, they would have a bright future. It was like a big opportunity that landed on their lap suddenly. However, if they failed to marry Spenser, they would have to bear the consequences of offending Vivian.

"You!" Vivian bellowed, "You two bitches! I'll kill both of you!" As soon as the words left her mouth, she leaped onto the two women and began fighting with them.

The three ladies fought for a man, and of course, it became the biggest headline news. The venue turned into a mess at once. Some people came forward to separate them, some were trying to calm everyone. But most of them were just enjoying the drama. Reporters from all directions were busy taking photos of this newsworthy scene.

However, Spenser was standing aside looking at them with an expressionless face, as if what happened had nothing to do with him. He stood there like a sculpture.

Selina noticed him. She knew that he must be very sad by Vivian's betrayal. He and Vivian had been in a relationship for three years. These two were like typical lovers in the campus and their love story inspired many of their schoolmates.

As the saying goes, betrayal from a loved person would make you hate them the most. That explained why he showed no emotion except indifference. Because he had loved Vivian too much.

"Spenser!" Selina quietly walked up to Spenser and called out his name.

Spenser turned around and looked at her in surprise. He tried to recall her name, but after thinking for a long time, he still couldn't remember who she was. As every woman present there, who wanted to talk to him was after luxury and fame, Spenser thought this woman also belonged to that class who wanted to ascend to the upper class and become rich overnight.

Seeing his surprised expression, Selina introduced herself, "Don't you remember me? I was your junior at school, Selina Wang!" She was slightly disappointed as Spenser couldn't recognize her. "Selina?" Spenser murmured. He had a faint memory of a person named Selina from the school. As there were so many women around him every day, he didn't have time to pay attention to each of them separately. He barely remembered that this girl also passed by him intentionally or unintentionally during their school years. It was just that he didn't expect to meet her here after such a long time.
