Chapter 6 Qin Mansion (Part One)

The news that Wendy took several people to Qin Mansion came to the ears of Mistress Elena. Her face turned pale. "Mammy, why would Wendy go to Qin Mansion all of a sudden?"

Mammy Lin frowned and said, "My Lady, I'm afraid that Miss Wendy was instigated by someone."

"What should I do? I severed my relationship with Qin Mansion in order to avoid Prime Minister Boris taking advantage of Qin Mansion. Hearing the questions from Alice, Wendy just gave her a faint smile. But Alice didn't mind it at all. Excitement was still on her face. She rolled up the curtain and looked out the window. She was so excited about the bustling street market.

"Miss Wendy, Miss Alice, we've arrived at Qin Mansion."

Wendy nodded. Judy opened the curtain in a hurry and helped Wendy get off the carriage. But Alice pushed Wendy away and jumped off the carriage. Wendy saw a noble lady, who turned out to be Sherrie, the principal wife of Lord Qin, her uncle. With tears in her eyes, she called, "Auntie."
