Chapter 9 Spy

Aunt Ashley looked at the maid with doubt. She didn't seem to understand what the maid had said, "You say it again. Did I hear it wrong?"

"My Lady, Prime Minister kindly requested you to assist Lady Olivia with the preparation of the coming of age ceremony of Miss Wendy. Now that Lady Olivia is physically heavy, please help her." She's too shy to ask, so I came with her." Ashley said with smile.

"Sister Wendy, I know you are good at embroidery, so I won't humiliate myself. I can only mange painting. What kind of painting do you like? Landscape or portrait?" Asked Rachel immediately, "My paintings aren't worth much. You won't mind it, will you?" she awkwardly played with her handkerchief.

Wendy shook her head with a smile, "No, I won't mind. It's so thoughtful of you."

Hearing what Wendy had said, Rachel relieved. Her bright eyes caught everyone's attention, "So what do you like, the landscape or the portrait?"

"Landscape." Wendy said, then bowed her head again to work on the embroidery.

As Ashley glanced at Wendy's embroidery, a glint of admiration flashed in her eyes, "Miss Wendy's skill of embroidery is better and better. The embroidery is so alive. I really envy you."

"Yeah, Miss Wendy's embroidery work is fantastic. I'm afraid even Gina from Rainbow Boudoir can't compare with you." Rachel smiled cutely and gently.

The smile on Wendy's face remained the same. She remembered this little sister.
