Chapter 7 Qin Mansion (Part Two)

Old Lord glanced at the door, and saw a figure in green. He sprang to his feet with excitement, and quickly sat down. He didn't want to be rude to younger generation.

"Dad, mom, look who is coming!" Sherrie came in quickly.

Slowly, Wendy walked into the main hall, looking at the two healthy old persons sitting in the host seats. She remembered that she had been bewitched by Boris and Olivia and taken advantage of by them to enter the gate of Qin Mansion in her previous life. These two old persons granted whatever she wanted, and helped her husband Jack in her previous life a lot. In the end, they were framed by these two cruel guys, and was framed by them, resulting in a crime of plagiarism!

"I'm Wendy. Hope you are doing well, grandpa and grandma. And say hello to aunt and uncle." When Wendy walked up to them, she knelt down respectfully. Her kneeling contained a lot of meaning, and also contained her guilt. In her previous life, if it weren't for her, Qin Mansion wouldn't have ended up like a traitor!

"Good girl, get up, please." Old Lord Lady quickly helped Wendy get back on her feet. "You brat, as long as you come to see us, you'll be fine."

"Yes, you are right. It's so kind of you to visit us more often."

"Grandpa, grandma, my mother is pregnant and she is too clumsy to go out, so I couldn't come back to see you. I hope you can forgive me." Wendy didn't understand why her mother didn't allow her to go back to Qin Mansion before. Even if she did, she would soon go back to her home. After what had happened in her previous life, she finally understood that her mother protected Qin Mansion in her own way, while she had hurt Qin Mansion.

"My silly girl, how could we not know what she is not capable of? Is your mother very good?" Old Lord Lady of course paid close attention to her daughter's case. Her daughter was pregnant, and they were very happy if it was a boy, which would secure her position in Mansion.

"I'm Alice. Good day, grandpa, grandma, uncle and aunt." Alice was unhappy to be ignored by everyone. She was the apple of the eyes at home. How could she be easily forgotten in Qin Mansion.

Old Lord Lady glared at Alice and snapped, "Who the hell are you? How could you be so rude? You're breaking in!"

Alice's face turned pale and she trembled with fear, especially when she saw Old Lord looking at her seriously, "I... I..."

"Grandpa, grandma, don't be angry. She is my sister, Auntie Olivia's daughter. She doesn't know the etiquette. Please forgive her."

"Hey, I wondered who was this bitch. It turns out that concubine's daughter. No wonder so rude." Old Lord Lady was the only wife in Qin Mansion. Old Lord didn't have any concubines. Moreover, Old Lord Lady also hated concubines very much therefore hated Boris very much.

The words of Old Lord Lady made Alice's eyes red. When Alice was in the mansion, she had been treated even better than the eldest daughter Wendy, thanks to the fact that Olivia took charge of affairs. Now as being called a bitch, her eyes turned red.

"How dare you!" Seeing Alice was about to cry, Sherrie scolded her at once, "You are just a coward! Don't act so rude! Where do you think you are? How dare you act so wildly here?"

Alice had never been insulted like this. She covered her mouth and ran out of the mansion, totally left her mother's words behind.

As soon as Alice left, Wendy was relieved, "Grandpa, grandma, mom has always been missing you. It's not that she doesn't want to come back to see you, but that she can't come back to see you. Please forgive her."

"You silly girl, we all know that." Old Lord Lady touched Wendy head and said, "She is my daughter, my sweetheart. Of course we know what she is thinking."

"Humph, Boris was such a cruel man. I have told Elena that he was not a good man, but she didn't believe us..."

"Old man!" Old Lord Lady snapped. Old Lord pouted and said, "Come on, Wendy. Your coming of age ceremony will be held soon. This's a gift from me."

"Thank you, grandpa."

"It's from your grandma. Come to Qin Mansion more often to visit us."

"Thank you, grandma. I will."

"Come on. I have prepared the coming of age ceremony for you too. My niece has finally grown up." said uncle Lord Qin.

"Thank you, uncle."

"I didn't prepare anything good. This was given by my mother at my coming of age ceremony. Now it's yours."

"Aunt, how can you..."

"This is my gift. Please accept it!"

"Thank you, Aunt Sherrie."

After asking Judy to put all the things in her space ring, Wendy then explained her purpose here, "Grandpa, grandma, uncle, aunt, I have something to discuss with you."

Old Lord and Old Lord Lady exchanged glances and asked, "What?"

"I hope grandfather and grandmother won't come at my coming of age ceremony. Please don't believe anything that is related to my mother and me."

Old Lord and Old Lord Lady stared at Wendy, but didn't know what she was going to do.

Wendy smiled, "Grandpa, grandma, I hope you can do me a favor. I know that day will be a mess. You are too old to make a fuss. But don't worry. I will take care of myself and my mother."

Old Lord patted his wife's hand as he noticed the firmness in Wendy's eyes, "Wendy has her own idea. We should listen to her. Since she said we shouldn't go, then we'd better not going. But we have to send someone there then."

"Shawn is coming back in two days. How about letting him come over?" Old Lord Lady said with a smile, "Young people must have a lot of common things to say."

"Okay, it's a deal."
