Chapter 6 Six

Levi chuckled "Look who did some research," He teased.

"I saw your little speech," She said ignoring his joke. She walked into her painting room and shut the door behind her taking a seat.

"Reasonable people won't reply yet," she said like she was angry.

"Yeah, but sensible people will and that's what I did,"

"Your statement made it clear that we spent a night together which is not supposed to be so,"

"A passionate night, "He corrected.

"We shouldn't meet again," She said firmly, her mind going back to the invitations on her dining table.

"Come say that to my face," Levi blurted.

"Do you think I'll fall for that stupid trick," She hissed.

"Trick? The last time I checked you were the one who gave me a spiked drink. What will people think when they hear that? What harm will it do you to come have a word with me when we already had sex? Passionate sex...," Levi pressured.

"You're crazy," She snapped.

"I'll send you the address be there at 9pm,"

"I didn't sa..." She started but he already hung up before she could even rant.

She sighed holding her head as the message containing the address entered her phone.

In frustration she pulled a painting smashing it.

~GLADWELL FAMILY HOUSE ~

Santiago. Mia's Father stared at the invitations with calm eyes not saying anything.

"Do you like them?"Hugo asked curiously.

"Of course I do, "He mouthed clearing his throat "I just hope this marriage helps tame her. She's just too stubborn,"

"I know, Dad, but there's nothing for you to worry about. Mia and I will work things out, "Hugo assured with a smile.

"That's good. Finish the rest of the plans with Elizabeth, I'm tired and have to sleep," Santiago said, getting up.

"Are you sure honey?"Elizabeth asked, trying to help him, but he pushed her slightly, shaking his head as he walked away.

Elizabeth stared at his retreating figure, then her mind jumped to her age and the man's age 'Love can be crazy at times' she thought, remembering the fact that she was just 35.

"Don't worry, mother, he'll come around," Hugo told her while gesturing for her to sit.

"Oh heavens, it's gonna be a long long preparation."She smiled taking her seat opposite Hugo, her eyes fixed keenly on him while he spoke.

Meanwhile, Mia walked out of her car wearing a long red dress. She looked at the address one more time exhaled and walked in.

"Hi am..." She was introducing herself to the server who attended to her immediately she entered.

"Miss Mia Gladwell?"The worker asked cutting her.

"Yes," She answered nodding slightly.

"This way, please,"She said, leading the way.

They kept walking till they got to a private suite then the lady stopped, opened the door slightly and ushered her in.

"Thanks," She mouthed walking in.

The room had dim lights and a table was set at the center.' Looks like a date,' she thought, standing right in front of the table.

"You like it that much," Levi said coming out of the corner holding two glasses and a bottle of red wine.

"I didn't say I like it," Mia said holding her purse tightly.

"I don't need you to say anything I just know it," He told her settling the glasses and pouring in some wine which he handed one over to her before going to sit on the bed staring at her while she took a sip. 'She sure looks hot' he thought as he looked her over.

"Smart people would set the table for two," Mia said looking at the table.

"Sensible people would have thought, oh maybe he isn't hungry? Or he doesn't like eating?"Levi teased but Mia glared at him.

"Sensible fool," She hissed eyeing the food.

"Sit down and eat," He told her.

She looked at the food on the table and saw that they were all her favourites. Did he do these intentionally? "I'll only eat a few because these are my favorites,"

"I know," He whispered to himself so she wouldn't hear.

"Why did you ask me to wear red?"She asked humming while she ate. He stared at her face with his eyebrows raised but said nothing.

"Are you really full?" She asked again, looking at him, but he said nothing, just sipping his wine, his eyes fixed on her intensely.

"Are you back to being silent?" No answer.

"You called me all the way to keep quiet," She said, acting annoyed to get a response, but instead he tilted his head, looking at her with a calm face.

"You are so..."

"You should stop using red lipstick or Pink a colorless lipstick will fit you more. You should only wear and use red when you want me to eat you up." Levi said cutting her.

"What?"She marvelled "What are you saying? How long have you been staring at my lips to know all those details?" She blushed.

"I just told you what it is.,"

Mia smiled one more time as she stared at him, then like a bell, the invitation pictures appeared in her head. She dropped her cutlery and stood up.

"Hmmm," She cleared her throat. "I meant what I said about us not seeing each other," she said tucking her hair behind her ear.

"I'm sorry I jumped you, it was a mistake, and I promise not to get in your way again," she said without daring to look at him.

"I should go now," She said awkwardly.

"You have no right to walk in and out of my life the way you want shawdy, "Levi's voice rang through her ears.

"I already said....." Before she could finish what she was saying Levi pushed her to the wall, slamming her back hard on it.

"Sorry?"He hissed.

"Yes, Yes I am if that will make you feel better."She said shakily. "Moreover you didn't lose anything instead I gave you my virginity shamelessly," hot tears tickle down her eyes as she the thought of Hugo cheating played in her head.

"You think I didn't lose anything?" He said slowly brushing the tears with his thumb. Shivers ran down her spine as she watched him crush the tears between his fingers and brought them back to her lower lips. "I lost my sanity when you gave yourself to me shawdy. Your curves, moan, your delicate legs still stay locked in my head," He whispered softly as his right hands trailed her belly button till it held her waist firmly. "And, I gave you myself as well."

Mia gasped slightly at the touch her breath itching as he moved his lips teasingly across hers. "What are y..."

Levi hissed in anger as he kissed her. He knew what she was about to say and that only made him wild. The kiss was hot as their lips joined and popped.

"This is crazy,"She moaned into his mouth breathlessly. 'oh yeah this is so fucking crazy what are you getting yourself into Mia' she scolded herself but she still couldn't bring herself to break the kiss.

"We're just getting started baby,"He said with a smirk as he broke the kiss only to reconnect it with plans of screwing her on the table playing in his head.
