Chapter 4 Dance Of War

When this eerie silence lasted long enough, Rehan decided to light his cigarette, and Alex quickly lit his lighter and offered the flame he had lit from the lighter to Rehan's cigarette.

That gesture was an unwritten rule in the underworld. If a dispute arose during a meeting, the leader who had invited the other leader would take out a cigarette. If the invited leader failed to assist the host in lighting his cigarette, bloodshed would ensue in the room.

However, if the invited leader lights the lighter and helps the other leader light his cigarette, it means both parties wish to discuss the matter peacefully.

"Thank you, Alex!" Rehan exclaimed as he took a drag from his cigarette.

"You old bastard, Rehan! I never thought you had the guts to challenge me! Hahaha! I admit I lost this time in the test of courage with you, Rehan!" Alex said, laughing and lighting his cigarette.

Since both leaders wanted to talk peacefully, the deputies and gang members present sat back down and began enjoying the drinks and food available on their respective tables.

"I may be old, Alex, but my courage remains the same as before! Life and death come only once, so what is there to fear?" Rehan said, puffing on his cigarette.

"Hahaha... you old bastard! Alright, Rehan, what are you offering to make peace with me over the deaths of 30 of my men killed by your daughter?" Alex said bluntly.

"I will give you 50 million rupiah as an apology, and since the deaths of your men were caused by my daughter, I will ask her to perform a dance using her sword as a gesture of apology from her!" Rehan replied, staring at Alex's face.

"50 million? For 30 of my men's lives? Are you kidding me, Rehan? Are you mocking me?" Alex snorted angrily.

"Then how much do you want for me to show my sincere apology to you?" Rehan asked Alex.

"I want this nightclub and five others in the Jakarta area to be transferred into my ownership?" Alex said, pulling out a wooden toothpick and beginning to clean his teeth with it.

"You know I won't give you what you're asking for, Alex!" Rehan said, gazing at Alex's face.

"As I suspected, you're truly a real Godfather, Rehan. Here's the deal: give me one of your nightclubs in Bekasi, and I'll ask your daughter to perform a beautiful, red-themed sword dance!" Alex said, tossing the toothpick he had used into Rehan's wine glass.

Rachel, Budi Budiman, Rudi, and the other gang members tensed up after seeing Alex toss his used toothpick into Rehan's wine glass.

That was a sign that what one of the opposing leaders had said was a final demand that couldn't be negotiated.

If the other party is unwilling to accept it, they will remove the toothpick from their glass. However, if they accept it, the party whose glass contains the toothpick will drink it and use the toothpick to clean their teeth.

"Let me think about it for a moment, Alex. While we wait, let's watch my daughter perform her sword dance." Rehan said, looking at his wine glass, which contained a toothpick.

"Alright, I'll give you some time to think about it!" Alex said with a smile.

"Rachel, my daughter! Help your father!" Rehan pleaded, looking at his daughter.

Rachel nodded, stood up, and drew a sword with a red hilt.

Rachel, wearing a long-sleeved shirt and white trousers, quickly took off her shoes and began performing an elegant yet powerful and agile sword dance.

Rachel performed a slash while jumping, and all members of the Black Wolves clapped their hands upon seeing Rachel's beautiful yet deadly swordplay.

Meanwhile, The Beast cheered Rachel on and mocked her.

"Hey, whore, I want to feel your body shake when my sacred spear pierces your heavenly cave!"

"A sword-wielding whore is indeed beautiful!"

One by one, the members of The Beast insulted Rachel, but Rachel knew it was done intentionally to provoke her into starting the battle. According to Rachel, there was a small group within The Beast who did not want to make peace with the Black Wolves.

The sound of a glass shattering could be heard as one of Rudi's men threw it onto the floor where Rachel was performing her dance.

The glass was thrown to the floor just as Rachel was performing a triple somersault, and when she stepped on the broken glass, her foot immediately began bleeding.

Rachel looked and glared sharply at Sony, the leader of The Beast's branch in Bekasi District, who often caused trouble in Bekasi City, which was the territory of the Black Wolves. Rachel then tried to suppress her anger and continued her sword dance.

"Oops, sorry, my hand slipped. I hope the famous War Goddess of the Black Wolves won't take offence at my actions. Besides, Chairman Alex said he wanted to see a beautiful, red sword dance, not this." Sony said, licking his hand and glaring at Rachel.

"Hahaha...! You're absolutely right, Sony!" Rudi interjected with a laugh.

"Now your feet are bleeding, just as Chairman Alex requested. Now there's only one thing left!" Sony said to the Beast member beside him.

"What's missing, Son?" his friend asked.

"That prostitute must perform the sword dance beautifully while naked. Can't we judge whether her body is beautiful or not if she's not wearing a single thread on her body?" said Soni, laughing hysterically while glaring at Rachel with a mocking expression.

Sony's laughter was immediately echoed by the other members of The Beast. Budi Budiman and the other members of the Black Wolves grew furious upon seeing Rachel being treated with such contempt by The Beast members.

Meanwhile, Alex merely smiled at the scene and said, "The longer you take to make a decision, the more your daughter will suffer, Rehan!" Alex warned Rehan.

Rehan merely responded with a faint smile. Indeed, before a decision was made, the opposing side was free to insult and mock their opponent. This was intended to expedite the opposing side's decision-making process at the request of their leader.

Meanwhile, Rachel, who was being mocked, was not permitted to act without Rehan's permission as the leader of the Black Wolves.

Rachel merely smiled and continued her sword dance, her feet slippery from the blood that had spilled when she stepped on the marble floor of the club, and began her sword dance again.

Budi was furious at Sony's behaviour towards Rachel; to him, Rachel was like his own daughter, and he wanted to tear Sony's mouth apart with his own hands for insulting and belittling Rachel.

Rachel played with her sword, thrusting and slashing sideways while watching her father. Slowly, Rachel moved closer to Sony.

Rehan, seeing this, frowned and shook his head at his daughter Rachel.

However, Rachel just smiled, then she did a backflip and landed right next to Sony.

"Ahhhh....!" Sony screamed in pain as her earlobe was cut by Rachel's sword.

"This is a lesson from me for you, bastard!" Rachel said with a smile.

Rachel stabbed her sword into Sony's thigh, which was under the wooden table.

"Ahhh... damn you, you whore!" Sony screamed in pain.

Rachel then drew her sword with a smile and licked the blood of Sony that was on her sword.

Then Rachel spat the blood from Sony's mouth onto Sony's face.

"It turns out it's not just your mouth that's rotten! Your blood is as rotten as your mouth, you filthy pervert!" Rachel huffed angrily.

Then Rachel kicked Sony's face, causing him to fall flat on his back. The gangster members from the Black Wolves and The Beast were shocked to see Rachel's incredibly swift action. They did not expect Rachel to perform such a crazy stunt.

A Sword Dance performed by Rachel turned into a War Dance because Rachel openly attacked Sony with a sword in her hand in front of all the members of The Beast and Serigala Hitam. Rachel also did not care about the two Gangster leaders who were quarreling and had not yet taken a stance.

"Damn it! Kill that woman!" Rudi shouted angrily.

After hearing Rudi's shout, the gang members in the room finally started to react and began hitting and attacking each other with sharp weapons.

The sound of clashing sharp weapons was heard. Budi Budiman immediately ran towards Rehan to protect him. However, before Budi could reach Rehan, they were stopped by the members of The Beast who were sitting on Rudi's bench.

Meanwhile, Rachel was facing 4 members of The Beast who had been sitting with Sony.

In the midst of the commotion, only Rehan and Alex appeared calm and did not attack each other. Both of them remained in their positions and smoked their respective cigarettes.

Rudi slowly began to pull something small from behind his jacket.

Rachel, seeing this, immediately threw a glass water bottle at Rudi's head.

Rudi immediately grabbed the sword on the floor and attacked Rachel; he decided not to use the small object he had prepared because Rehan and Alex's attention was currently focused on him. Rudi could kill Rachel using a sword, but if Rudi kills Rachel using a firearm.

Rudi will be attacked and hunted by the Black Wolf Members, and the members of The Beast are not allowed to protect him. Because in this era, any battle using firearms is considered an act of cowardice. Therefore, the Gangsters still fight using sharp weapons
