Chapter 6 INTENTION CHAPTER 6

SS2 third term exams had started and Adeolu have been doing well so far although he was not allowed to write the exams in any of the classroom instead he wrote them in the principal office, this has been going on for two weeks now and this was going to be the final paper Economics

Adeolu had read very well, despite being distracted by Kemi pretty face and his brother videos games, Adeolu have found a way to balance those things up,

since his stay at Mr Tunde home he had not gotten into any trouble with anyone, he always does the house work before being told to, and also does extra work by helping Mrs Tundra in the kitchen

Kemi advances on Adeolu however was getting a little bit too much for Adeolu liking, what Yemi had told him the other day was still fresh in his memory and he didn't want to get in trouble with Mr Tunde, he will surly send him back and he won't be able to finish his education so Adeolu has been trying his best to avoid Kemi in the same house...

" you most have finished writing by now" Mr Tunde said optimistically

" No Sir!!! I only just started, it's just 10 minutes into the exam " Adeolu said almost laughing

" yes I know but I expect you to be through by now, I don't judge you with other students capability, you are a genius and I judged you base on that " Mr Tunde said adjusting his glasses

" well that would be true, if I was actually a genius "

" it's obvious are my boy but let me not distract you from writing " Mr Tunde said

After 23 minutes more, Adeolu now was done with the paper, the paper supposed to be an hour and 30 minutes, but Adeolu was through within close to an hour, with other students still in the classrooms battling with what to write

Adeolu was very happy, at last, he is through with his exams and can now move to SS3 and finally get a certificate so he can get a good job and move far away from Mr Femi and his family of horrors

After he finished writing his paper Adeolu helped Mr Tunde in the office with some paper works

" that's remind me, let me register you for the scholarship exams online " Mr Tunde said opening his laptop

Mr Tunde filled up Adeolu details and send it online

" hopefully you will be selected to write the exams, but before then you have to read harder, I most say I am disappointed at today performance, you were really slow in finishing " Mr Tunde said staring deep at Adeolu

" ....Sir it's not as easy as you think ...." Adeolu said scratching his hair on his head with his hands

" No, don't make excuses, you have been playing too much now a days, it's because of Yemi and Kemi right? "

Adeolu couldn't say anything, he didn't want to blame anyone, besides he was having a great time with Yemi and Kemi, a little play doesn't kill anyone, he thought

" it's OK, I'm not saying you should not play, I support the saying " all work and no play make Jack a dull boy " so a little play is good for you. But just be careful so you don't play too much ok.... " Mr Tunde said warmly.

At home that evening, everyone were bsck home, kemi had also finished her exams that very day while Yemi is still waiting to get admission into the University

They whole family sat down on the couch watching local African movies, while Adeolu stayed in the guest room reading, Mr Tunde asked where Adeolu was and Kemi volunteered herself to look for him.

She want straight to Adeolu's door and knocked

Adeolu responded " the door wasn't locked " and Kemi came in

" Dad have been looking for you " she said

" hope no problem " he said closing his books

" No, No problem at all... it's just everyone is in the sitting room having a good time and you are here all by yourself " Kemi said in a sad tone

" it's no problem really, I have gotten used to it, back at my house, I don't watch TV, play video games or even talk to anyone

" those your foster family are terrible people, don't worry you are with us for the mean time. You should enjoy yourself, come let's go watch TV " she said smiling

" I don't think so, you are right that my foster family are terrible people, in fact they would have collected an award for being so wicked, but the only good thing I gain there was I had time to read course there where not much distraction. But here their are lot of distraction and the worst thing is that I like those distractions but I know I will have to go back someday, so I got to focus on my book " Adeolu said opening back his book

" so is that why you have be avoiding me... Yes I know you have been avoiding me, so don't try to deny it " Kemi said staring at Adeolu

"..... It's not that I don't want to talk to you but it's just that__"

" it's just what? " Kemi said moving close to Adeolu

".....its just you are like a temptation to me, like an ice cream staring directly at me.. I have to control myself everytime I am with you " Adeolu said looking away from Kemi eyes

" then stop controlling yourself, don't fight your feelings " she said as she bent down to his level

" what are you doing " Adeolu said trying hard to resist his urge

" stop talking " Kemi commanded

Adeolu obeyed, as he kept quiet and kemi lips met his, it felt weird, so much wetness and yet he wanted more, it's was his first time tobexperience such, so he couldn't tell if Kemi was a great kisser or not, but what he knows was that he likes how the kiss made him feel inside

......Kemi!!! Mr Tunde called out loud from the passage, that it made Kemi and Adeolu disorganized out of fear of being caught but they comport there self in the nick of time before Mr Tunde could enter into Adeolu's room

" what are you doing here? " Mr Tunde asked Kemi demanding an answer

" ......well I saw Adeolu reading so I decided to join him in reading " Kemi said hoping her father won't suspect her

" was that what I asked you to do? " Mr Tunde said offensively

Adeolu just buried his head in his book, he couldn't bare to look at Mr Tunde in his eyes, because he is scared that Mr Tunde might read the fear in his eyes

" simple instruction I gave to you, go and check where Adeolu is, what you should have done was check and report back to me, but No, you decided that you will stay here and disturb the poor boy, can't you see he is reading, will you leave him alone " Mr Tunde said pointing at the door

" but Dad, I also want to read with him " Kemi said trying to form if she was angry but deep down she was happy that her father didn't catch her kissing Adeolu, she would have been dead

Adeolu could not say anything, he was still in fear, that was so close, he said to himself, that was really close. But after Kemi and Mr Tunde left the room and his fear of almost being caught had capsized the thought of Kemi lips came to his mind, and he smiled touching his lips. It felt good really good Adeolu admitted but it is very dangerous he also thought. He could no longer concentrate on what he was reading as he closed his book and lie down on the bed thinking......

Later that night Mrs Tunde was in the kitchen about to prepare dinner for the family, like always Adeolu was with her despite Mrs Tunde telling him not too bother, Adeolu still insisted he wants to stay there with her, this made Mrs Tunde happy as they both talked and Mrs Tunde laughed at Adeolu jokes

".... You are really funny " Mrs Tunde said almost chocking herself out of laughter

" am sorry Ma" Adeolu said laughing

Dinner was ready as Mrs Tunde set the table ready, Adeolu also assisted her with it, everyone was dish there plate of rice and chicken with fried plantains on top of it, they all sat down and ate there food

During the dinner Mr Tunde narrated all that happened, during his time in the military before he decided it was time he quit it, before he dies. So after 5 years in military service he resigned and due to connection he had he became a principal of a government school

Adeolu was enjoying all that Mr Tunde was saying and he had kin interest in the story but the rest of the family were bored to death at the story they have heard it a thousand times already and they wanted something new, but they didn't have a choice as they all listened to Mr Tunde dry story again, All of them except Kemi.

She decided she had, had enough of the story and wanted something fun, so she did the most craziest think Adeolu had ever seen in his life. She used her feet to romance Adeolu's legs under the dinning table, moving up and down his leg slowly, Adeolu was gripped with fear and yet this great excitement filled his body, he looked at Kemi sitting directly opposite him and she had a straight face as if nothing was happening

This girl is crazy, Adeolu couldn't believe what was happening as he started sweating out of fear

" this one that you are sweating Adeolu, is it because of my husband story " Mrs Tunde said jokingly

" No Ma ..." Adeolu quickly replied

" what do you mean by that statement " Mr Tunde asked his wife

" I was only joking " Mrs Tunde said still laughing

Kemi just kept a straight face as if she doesn't know what was happening, meanwhile she was the course of Adeolu situation

Adeolu was so tense he no longer could locate his mouth as he spill the glass of water he wanted to drink on his body, table and on the floor

" am so sorry I will go and get something to clean it up " Adeolu said

" don't worry yourself, I will go get it, just sit down where you are and don't move an inch " Kemi said as she quickly stood up then winked at Adeolu before she walked passed him

She is actually enjoying this Adeolu could see, is she not even scared of her parent finding out what she was doing

Kemi came back with a clean dry clothe which she used to first clean some of the water on Adeolu's body before using it to clean the table and as she wanted to clean the floor she stylishly whispered something into Adeolu's ear
