Simon Park's POV
I clench my jaw at her words. Has the HR department really been this desperate to get me my personal manager that they deceived a woman into getting to this role? I might have bombarded them this last month with my daily needs as an artist but it was their fault in the first place for hiring incompetent fools who wanted this position to either get in my pants or in my bank account and title. If only Mr. Cho hadn't resigned 6 months ago due to his marriage and the need to focus on his family, I wouldn't have had the need to look for new managers these past 6 months.
I so wanted to fire the woman in front of me immediately for insubordination. But something in the determined look in her eyes and the fire of rage in them made me believe she was scammed into this position she has in now. Her defiance almost amuses me. She must be the first person who had not wanted this job, scammed or not.
I breathed deep and spoke, "Alright, Ms. Smartypants. I will give you one good briefing, only once. So listen carefully." I gestured for her to sit at one of the chairs in front of my office desk. My expression remaining unreadable. I almost smirked at her reaction. She was ready to bite a minute ago but she was caught off guard by my sudden agreement. She looked stunned for a moment and just as I was about to speak again, she composed herself and sat on the chair, her attention clearly focused on what I am about to say right away.
