Sienna ducked low, pivoting just as the first gunman fired. The bullet ricocheted off the concrete pillar behind them. She fired back without hesitation, the sharp crack of the gun echoing through the empty parking garage.

Ethan grabbed the second gunman's wrist before he could get a shot off, twisting it hard. The man grunted, the gun clattering to the ground. Ethan didn't give him a chance to recover-he drove his fist into the guy's ribs, sending him staggering backward.

Sienna took down the first attacker with a clean shot to the leg. The man collapsed, his scream muffled as she kicked his gun away. She spun, her breathing heavy, eyes locking onto Ethan as he pinned the second man against a concrete pillar.

"Talk," Ethan growled, forearm pressing against the man's throat. "Who sent you?"

The man choked out a rough laugh. "You're too late. She's already dead."

Ethan's stomach twisted.

Sienna stepped forward, pressing the barrel of her gun to the man's temple. "Try again."

The man coughed, blood on his lips. "You think you can stop it? This is bigger than you, Carter. Bigger than both of you." His gaze flicked to Sienna, and something dark passed through his expression. "You should've stayed dead."

Sienna's hand trembled. For just a second. But Ethan caught it.

He tightened his grip. "Who are you working for?"

The man just smirked.

Before Ethan could press further, a sharp whistle cut through the air.

Then-boom.

The explosion rocked the parking garage, sending a shockwave through the concrete. Ethan barely had time to react before fire and debris rained down from the upper levels.

Sienna grabbed his wrist. "Move!"

They sprinted toward the exit as the structure groaned around them, pillars crumbling under the force of the blast. Smoke filled the air, choking, blinding. Behind them, the two gunmen were either dead or buried under rubble.

But Ethan wasn't thinking about them anymore.

Someone wanted Sienna silenced.

And whoever they were, they were willing to burn the city down to do it.
