Chapter 2 Flashback

A breakup is always difficult.

Anyone who says it doesn't hurt is a liar.

Those who are dumped know better than anyone how much it hurts. And I speak from experience.

When I was dumped by the boy I was madly in love with I felt awful.

For days I wouldn't leave my room, I said then that I would never see him again and that I would never fall in love again.

But how did I find myself in front of my ex-boyfriend.

Five years ago...

Everything started here.....

There's a banquet inside the mansion of the Gabriel's family. Every guest is wearing sophisticated and luxurious gowns and tuxedo as if they are going to attend the red carpet awarding.

The Gabriel's family has only one child and tonight they are celebrating their only child's 18th birthday party.

In the middle of the crowd, the 18 years old lady is dancing with her 18th roses. She is wearing a white gown, she is like a princess in the fairytale, she has everything that every girl in the world could wish for.

Her father is the chairman and the owner of the Ms clothing company.

Their company is one of the competitive clothing companies in the entire country and even abroad.

They are rich and she can get whatever she wants.

Luxurious bags, dresses, jewelry, cars she has everything she wanted. She even had four bodyguards with her wherever she goes. She's a beauty!

After her 18th roses dance, Vivian sitting in the chair to take a rest. She feels tried from dancing and she already gets board with this party.

There are guests with the same age as her, they approached her to greet her a happy birthday.

Of course!

Vivian has to smile at them and say thank you!

But for her, all of them are fake and pretenders! They just want to be close to her to gain some benefit!

Yes! It's just because their family is rich.

"Heyy, pretty lady! It's your birthday but your expression looked like you're going to a funeral!

Vivian knitted her brows when she heard the familiar voice of a woman from behind her. She turned her head to look behind her and there!

She found Bella su! Her best friend!

Bella is four years older than her, she is twenty two.

Bella she's a good looking lady, she has an American physique because her mother is half American and half Chinese.

Her mom is Sandra Su the CEO of SU corporation, she took over the position when her husband passed away five years ago.

Bella could catch every guy's attention even if she is just walking in the street. She's not just good looking lady, she's also smart!

In fact, at a young age, she already established her own business!

She owns a bar in America and she's making money from it! She's also the heir of the SU corporation which exported high quality dresses across Asia and other parts of the world. Aside from exporting high quality dresses they also have another line of business.

Every young man from rich families is willing to do everything just to catch her attention.

"Hey, Bella!" Vivian gets up from her seat excitedly and embraced Bella.

"Why do you look so lonely on your special day and where's Daniel?" She asked.

Vivian took a deep breath, "I'm not lonely, I'm just tried seeing their fake smiles!" Vivian pointed a young lady with her mouth pouted. "Daniel should be on his way, I don't know what is keeping him." She added.

"Hehe." Bella let out a short laugh "you're such a rude girl!" She rubbed her head and messed her hair.

"Hey!" Vivian lightly slapped Bella's hand. "You! You ruined my braided hair!" Vivian complained and she looked like a kid throwing tantrum.

"Hehe. Bella laughed again. C'mon, let's go to a quiet place!" She said and then she grabbed Vivian's wrist.

The two of them went to the garden. The party was held in the event room inside the mansion, so the noises are not heard in the garden.

After five minutes, Daniel driver came in the garden with a flat wide box in his hands.

Vivian gasped! "Where's Daniel and is that his gift for me?! Vivian asked the driver with a surprised expression.

"Daniel sent me to you, he said he will be with you within a short time." The driver said as he placed the box in front of her.

Vivian instantly teared up the gift wrapped and opened it.

Her eyes went wide open when she saw what's inside the box.

"Oh my God Daniel! This.... this is the "Starry Night Gown" that was designed by the famous designer Rachel! And this is the only design of this gown! Vivian exclaimed!

Then she saw a small piece of paper sticking out from the gown. With a horrible gut feeling, Vivian scanned the paper reading the words written in his handwriting.

I nearly choked when i read it. Tears were falling down my cheeks and my vision instantly became blurry.....
