Upon seeing Victor standing at the door, it seemed like her brother-in-law wanted to see his son.
But because he was with Arthur, the man no longer wanted to see his son.
After a few seconds of contemplation, Debora slowly rose from the sofa and walked towards the door, still carrying Arthur.
"Brother!" Debora called out to Victor, who had left Arthur's bedroom door a few steps away.
Victor stopped in his tracks upon hearing Debora call him, then turned his body.
Debora walked towards him, and when she got close, she reached out her hand, offering Arthur to Victor.
"You want to see Arthur, right? Here, take him!" Debora said, handing Arthur to Victor.
Victor froze in place; he felt that Debora had been hostile towards him since noon.
He reached out to take his son, but then he grabbed Debora's hand and pulled her.
With quick steps, he pulled her towards Debora's room; he needed to have a private conversation with the woman who had replaced his son.
"What? What's the matter? Let go of me!" Debora exclaimed in surprise as Victor forcefully pulled her.
Victor pushed open the main door leading to Debora's room.
Bang!
Victor closed the door harshly, then pushed Debora onto the sofa.
He pressed her to sit on the sofa, then looked at Debora with an angry gaze.
"Why are you being so rough with me? Are you trying to provoke a fight? I am now your husband, you should watch how you speak to me!" Victor said loudly, glaring sharply at Debora.
"What? Who is starting a fight here? I do this because I like to have my way. I'm a girl who doesn't care about anyone! Don't you know that I'm selfish and you better be prepared to deal with my temper!" Debora retorted loudly, refusing to be oppressed by her brother-in-law.
"So, it's true, then!" Victor responded sharply.
"Yes, it is true! There's no mistake! I am stubborn; I am the immature girl who likes to have her way. So...hurry and tell your father to get rid of me, the sooner, the better, so you don't suffer later!" Debora exclaimed, staring sharply at Victor.
"You have said terrible things about me; I will play the role that you described to me!" Debora whispered angrily, looking at Victor intensely.
Victor couldn't find words to respond to Debora's outburst; he felt extremely frustrated.
"Why? Is it only now that you realize I've gone too far? Didn't you even want this marriage? So, before it gets worse, before we fight every day, tonight I will leave my brother-in-law's house!" Debora responded, then hurriedly walked towards the walk-in closet.
"What are you doing?" Victor shouted loudly.
"Wah...!" Suddenly, Arthur cried in Victor's arms because of his loud shout.
Victor was startled to see Arthur crying because of his own shout.
He then gently rocked his body to calm Arthur down.
"Hush, hush, Daddy's boy, be quiet now, shh..." Victor busied himself trying to soothe the crying Arthur.
Meanwhile, Debora was inside the walk-in closet, putting a few pieces of her clothes into a small suitcase.
She then pulled the small suitcase out of the walk-in closet.
"Debora!" Victor shouted, seeing that Debora was serious about what she had said.
Victor quickly grabbed the suitcase that Debora was dragging and threw it roughly onto the bed.
While Arthur continued to cry upon hearing Victor's shout, he appeared so frightened.
"You're so childish, don't you think about Arthur at all?" Victor said angrily.
Hearing the increasingly loud cry of Arthur, Debora couldn't bear it; she approached Victor.
Debora took Arthur from Victor's arms, and Victor handed Arthur over to Debora.
As soon as Debora's hand took Arthur from Victor's arms, the baby immediately stopped crying.
He appeared calm in Debora's arms. Debora's fingers gently caressed Arthur's cheek.
Her nephew seemed calmer, then started moving his hands quickly.
