Chapter 5 Aiden

~Writer's POV

Alicia went to Lexi's place to confront him about what she saw.

*ding! dong!*

He opened the door to meet a stern look on his face.

"cat got your voice?"

"Ahem! Alicia you .. you didn't tell me you were coming" he moved back and tried his best to hide the shock on his face but he stuttered already.

"Can't I decide to come anytime I want" She let herself in. Eyeing his appearance with her arms folded, she arched an eyebrow to show how displeased she was.

"is this how you dress.. in short boxers when you very much know there's another girl in the house?" Actually, he thought it'd be Jasmine ringing the doorbell and didn't bother to pull on a shirt, he might as well eat her up from the doorstep.

"hey .. why are you all cranky" he tried to hug her and used that as a medium to wave off the topic but she pushed him off.

"Jasmine is not even at home" he yelled, apparently he has been frustrated by how bossy she is right now.

"Lexi.. Tell me the truth. Look into my eyes and tell me you're not sleeping with her" tears had begun to roll down her eyes. She isn't that strong after all.

"baby, we don't have to do this" he looked away and paced around trying to find a way to stop the controversy.

"look at me and tell me what I need to know" She gritted her teeth as if that'll stop the pain in her heart, for him to avoid this question so long.. there might be a possibility.

"Alicia dear.. if that's what you want, I'm going to look in your eyes and tell you. There's nothing going on between I and Jasmine" he cupped her face and said straight to her face even with looking into her eyes. That's how plainly a liar he is.

"Then how do you explain this" She showed him her phone and the picture he saw struck him dumb. Shock was all written all over his face.

"How is this possible.. this person made a perfect Photoshop, that is not me I swear" this time, the sentence flowed out well from his mouth.

"Lies!!.. your lying to me!!"

"I'm telling the truth, how can you doubt me just because of a photograph, don't you trust me anymore?" his voice turned cold and that made her guilty. The table turned so fast and she was the one rendered speechless.

"but .. I - I, I saw Jasmine in the convenience store today getting some rubbers and birth control pills" she calmed down.

"so? I'm disappointed Lee, can't she have a freedom of wanting a man, although she told me nothing about it .. she might have someone already" he shrugged and turned to leave, pretending to be annoyed.

"I'm sorry Lexi" She ran to him and hugged him from behind.

"Is my undying love not enough to assure you? how can you accuse me that way?" he said.

"I'm sorry Hun, I was blinded by furiousness" she pecked his bare back.

The drive was going on smoothly when she came out of the gate until a dog stopped in the middle of the road. She seemed to have noticed it late so the brake she applied was not quick enough. Did she kill it? She'll be in trouble if she does..

"Ruby.. stop!"

Jasmine rushed out if the car to check out what was happening. A young lad ran to the dog side and hugged it, a resounding sigh of calmness erupted from her mouth into the air.

"I told you not to go that way" he scolded the dog and at the same time rubbed it fur. The picture looked like an oil painting before her eyes, it was a cute scenery.

"Andy, what did I tell you about bringing Ruby outside without mum or I with you?" A deeper voice said from behind so she was forced to look up to see who owned the attractive voice.

"I'm sorry brother, we were playing fetch when she ran out of the lawn" the little boy said apologetically.

"go inside and wait for your punishment" He tried to make his face and voice stern but his expression betrayed him. They both look cute.

Nevertheless, the boy of about 6 years old stood up sadly and went inside with the poodle dog.

"sorry about the dog" he said to Jasmine in a more relaxed tone.

"Aiden right? you don't have to be too hard on him, he is already sorry" She said.

"I know, I just want him to know he's wrong" he slid his hands into his pockets.

"Okay" she whispered, there's no point talking him out of it since he already made his decision. She tucked a strand of her fallen hair.. things began to get awkward.

"you're Aunt Claire daughter right?" he asked, try to stifle a conversation.

"Yeah .. I am"

"Can I have your digits, you once in a blue moon come home.. since we're literally neighbors, we should be friends or don't you think so?" he said.

"sounds nice enough" she shrugged and gave him her phone number.

"see you some other time" he held her hand when she wanted to return his phone. She smiled and turned it into a handshake. She got in her car and zoomed off.

Aiden smiled knowingly to himself. Should he call it love at first sight? She must be an alien because so far, none of the celebrities he knows are to be compared to her.

"I thought I told you to go inside your room" he said when he saw his kid brother still playing with the dog.

"come on bro, if Ruby didn't stop in front of her car, you wouldn't have gotten her number so you owe Ruby a treat!" Andy rolled his eyes. Truth is .. he's right but there's no way Aiden will give in to him.

"you spoilt imp!" he blushed. "come here and let me spank you" he ran to him but Andy escaped. They ended up pursuing each other until they were worn out.

Jasmine alighted from her car and entered the apartment. Surprisingly, there was a couple hugging on the couch and watching Netflix.

Here he was with another girl when she was busy reasoning how not to get pregnant. She couldn't help but feel like a second option and that sucks!

"Jazz, come join us.. were watch XO kitty and you won't believe Kitty had a sex dream about Yuri" Lexi said when he noticed Jasmine standing behind.

"You've spoilt the movie already, I better stay upstairs.. have fun you two!" her smile came out fake.

"Your wish" he shrugged and hugged Alicia who pretended not to be jealous by their closeness.

She switched into a more comfortable cloth when she got upstairs before picking het phone to watch some reels but then, a message popped in.

HI, IT'S AIDEN -

HEY - JASMINE.

FIRST THINGS FIRST, SAVE ME NUMBER -

She saved his number casually as Aiden, that is his name after all.

DONE - JASMINE.

WHAT DID YOU SAVE IT AS? - AIDEN.

YOUR FIRST NAME - JASMINE.

NAHH I DON'T WANT THAT, THAT'S TOO PLAIN AND BORING - AIDEN.

NO IT ISN'T, HAVE WE MET BEFORE BY ANY CHANCE BEFORE YOU GOT MY NUMBER? WHY ARE YOU SO CASUAL WITH ME? - JASMINE.

THAT'S WHO I AM, ANY PROBS??? - AIDEN.

NO, IT'S COOL THO - JASMINE.

The chat lasted in minutes and minutes turned into an hour. Soon enough, she couldn't stop laughing at his little jokes. Maybe it's because of how desperate she is to have a boyfriend but she seemed to have fallen for him... or maybe not!

"who are you chatting with?"

"Ah!" she rolled down the bed his shock thinking it was a ghost. "Lexi?"

He had a serious face as he awaited her answer.

"It's no one" Why did she have the urge to keep Aiden, she has never lied to her best friend.

"I was just watching some skits videos" she hid her phone.

"okay.. we couldn't watch the video properly because of how loud you were so Alicia left already" he walked closer to her and she sat on the bed.

"guess what?" his expression became darker as he advanced closer.

"What?"

"I locked the door" he brought out a key from his pocket and waved it.

"And? what does that mean?" was she really clueless or she decided to intrigue his desire?

"That means.." he crawled to her on the bed and connected their lips shortly. "we get to be with ourselves without any disturbance" he smiled and she kept mute, not knowing exactly what do so or say to him.

"I heard from Alicia you got some rubbers.." he planted soft kisses on her cheek and neck.

"Do you know how I missed your sweet cologne smell" he whispered.

"we shouldn't be doi.. hm!" he shut her up by a kiss. It expanded into an hungry one and in no time, their clothes were already littered on the floor.
