Chapter 5 Reuniting The Past Part Two

At Clara's house...

"Ahem! "Can I come in", asked Matt. "Who is there?" asked Clara. "It's me, Matt; can I come in?" said Matt. "Yes, please come in. What can I get you?" Clara asked. "Just sit down; I have got some vegetables. I will make some food for you. After that, I will clean the house. You just wait in the living room and listen to some songs. I will not take much time," said Matt. Clara replied, "There is no need to do that. I am already in debt to you. You have done a lot for me and my brother." "Don't worry, just sit down in the chair and talk to me while I cook and clean," said Matt. Clara said, "What do you want to know about a blind girl?" "Have you ever seen yourself?" asked Matt. "No, I was born blind, but why do you ask?" says Clara. "Oh, sorry!" says Matt. "No issue, but why do you ask?" says Clara. "I must say that you are really beautiful." "Thank you," said Clara.

After eating the food, Matt told Clara to sit on the lawn while he swept the leaves. Clara asked him, "What does he do?" He replied, "I told you that I have a car factory in the town." "And I have sent Tony to work in the factory." Clara asked, "One more question: are you married?" He said, "I am not married." "I live with my brother. We both run the business together along with my uncle."

A few days later, when Matt was in the cabin, Uncle Max had a doubt and asked him a few questions. The old man asked, "Where do you work, son?" He said, "I work in the nearby village." "What do you do there?" asked Uncle Max. Matt said, "I am the caretaker of a girl who is blind." "By any chance is that girl's name Clara?" asked Uncle Max. Matt was about to say something, but Uncle Max said, "Son, you are lying." "Is there anything you should tell me because you seem to be in trouble?" Matt said, "Uncle, I will tell you the whole story, but you have to help me." "I can't lie to her all the time as I have fallen in love with her." Uncle Max said, "Son, sit here with me and tell me the whole story." Matt and Max both sat in the garden and talked.

Matt narrated the whole story to Max. Max said, "Son, you are in big trouble." "You killed that blind girl's only hope." "What will you do when she finds out about Tony's death?" Matt said, "I have not thought that far." Max said, "What are you planning to do with her?" Matt said, "I love her, and I will marry her." Ash came back from the woods, and in the middle, he asked, "Whose marriage?" "Will anybody tell me something?" "Do I have an invitation to that?" Matt said, "It is none of your business," and left for Clara's house.

Matt reached Clara's house. Clara was sitting on the chair. Matt knocked on the door and asked, "Is anybody home?" She said, "Come in." "I am in the dining room." Matt went inside and held her hands and went on his knees and proposed to her, "Clara, will you marry me?" Clara initially remained silent, but after a few seconds, she asked, "Who are you?" "Where is my brother, and what is this?" Matt said, "Your brother is dead." "I killed him, and I want you to marry me." Clara was about to react. Ash came from behind and said, "Hi, sister." "How are you?" "I've returned from town." "I'm on vacation." Clara said, "Tony, where were you all these days?" "Are you alright"? Ash said, "Yes, sister, I am all right, and thanks to Matt, I got a job." "Now you can relax." She said, "Now that you have come, I have to tell you a lot of things." Ash said, "You both sit." "I will prepare some food for us three." Ash went into the kitchen, and Matt said, "Now will you marry me?" Clara said, "Now that Tony has come, I will talk to him and then let you know about the marriage." Matt said, "Okay, I will help Tony in the kitchen while you sit here." "Alright?" and Matt went inside the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Ash was cutting vegetables. Matt went to him and said, "How did you come here?" "Who told you I was here?" Ash said, "Uncle Max told me all the things, and that you are stuck in a serious problem." "I enquired about your problem, and he told me everything." Matt said, "Thank you, but I do not need your help." Ash said, "I am your brother." "I can do anything, and from now onwards we are both in it together." "Is that alright?" Matt said, "You are a great brother, and I am happy that you are my true savior." Ash said, "Do you really love her?" Matt asked, "What do you think?" "No problem," Ash said. "I'll help you now that we're both in it."

In the dining room, Clara was sitting on a chair. Matt came and said, "Now that Tony has come, will you marry me?" "Yes, but only on the condition that you never lie to me about anything because I can't see anything but I hear everything," Clara replied. At first, Matt thought that she heard the conversation between Ash and him in the kitchen. Clara again said, "I want the ceremony to be done in the nearby church." Now Matt got into trouble, as the man who used to be the priest in the church knew everything. What if he tells her the whole truth? Matt said, "Can it be done here in this house"? She said, "No, I have dreamt of getting married in the church, as my mother and father also got married there." He said, "Okay." Meanwhile, Ash came in and said, "Lunch is ready, and by the way, who is getting married?" Clara said, "Tony, do you know Matt asked me to marry him?" Ash said, "Thank you, Matt; I cannot repay you this debt." Matt said, "No worries; now you can go to the factory, and I will take care of her." Ash said, "Matt, I am on a leave from the office; can the marriage be done today?" Clara said, "Wow, that will be so quick, and I will be wearing my mother's gown." Matt said, "What's the hurry?" "We can do it when you come next time." "I'm in a hurry because I'm going to the office, and I won't be back for a few months," Ash explained, "so I want it to happen today." Can you do that if you do not mind? Matt said, "Clara, do you want it today?" Clara said, "If it is fine with you, I am ready." Matt said, "As you wish."

In the kitchen, Matt was talking to Ash about the wedding. Clara was in another room and fell as she attempted to enter the kitchen. Her head hit the knob of the door, and there was blood everywhere. Matt got scared, and he took her to the doctor. The doctor tried his best, but the bleeding didn't stop. The doctor came out and said that the injury was fatal and she might not survive. Matt went to Clara and said, "Clara, I have to confess one thing before I see you for the last time." Clara tried to say something, but Matt said, "Your brother Tony, he is dead." "I killed him by mistake, and the boy who came in the morning is my brother Ash, who sounded like Tony." "I am in your debt." "I love you so much that I had to lie." Clara, with a soft voice, said, "I know you killed my brother." "I hear you and your brother in the kitchen. I was silent because I wanted to know when you would tell me the truth. Now I am on my deathbed, and I curse you for the way my brother went away from me. The same thing will happen to you: your brother will abandon you when you need him the most. "Before I die, I will say that he will be the reason behind your death." With her last words, she died in the hospital. Matt started to weep. The doctor said, "It is her time; you can take her." Matt took her to the same graveyard where he buried Tony, and the same man came and said, "Holy mother!" "What happened to her?" Matt, in a low tone, said, "I killed her too," and started crying. The man said, "Son, you have ruined everything." "God save you now, as she was not a normal girl." "She was gifted; whatever she said came true." " She used to have premonitions, and now, Lord have mercy on you." Matt said, "I know, I am cursed, and I will die with her right now." Meanwhile, Uncle Max came with Ash. Uncle Max said, "Son, look at me and tell me if you can change what has been done." "Uncle, I loved her very much, and when she died, she even cursed me, saying that my blood brother would kill me," Matt responded. Max said, "Son, we cannot change the future." "You did wrong, and now you will get what you deserve." "We all get what we deserve." Ash said, "Come on, Matt; do not be worried." "We are brothers, and I will be with you at all times." "After they all buried her, Ash took Matt to the cabin, and the curse haunted my grandpa Matt," said Skylar.

In the present, Cavil says, "That is interesting, but you said Ash has destroyed a lot of timelines." "What can we do in this timeline?" She said, "Listen to me carefully." "There are infinite timelines, and in every timeline, you are the chosen one." "Before this point, there was no one, but there are Cavil, Ash, and me in every timeline." "He has killed the Ashs of the other timelines and is taking their powers. There is one more thing I want you to know: not every Ash from the other timelines is bad." "You have to do the same." Cavil said, "Do I have to kill other Cavils"? "You have to unite them and make an army because every Cavil has different powers, and now that you know the secret, you have to make an army," Skylar said. "Do you want to quit?" "No, I will fight to the end," says Cavil. Skylar says, "Now you are on your own; my journey with you is over here." Cavil says, "What do you mean it's over?" "I want you to be with me." She said, "You can go through these timelines; your body will adapt to every timeline." Cavil said, "You can not leave me here." "I have only you, and I think somewhere I have started to love you." She said, "We might be together in another timeline but not in this." After saying this Skylar get vanished into vapors.

After Skylar vanished into thin air, Cavil was thinking of what to do and how to start. He got the idea that he should go back to the cabin. He might get some clues from there. So, Cavil went back into the woods and tried to connect with Matt, but that did not happen. While he was searching for the things in the cabin. He found out that there was a room where it was written "do not enter," and he got curious and entered. He went inside, and to his shock, there was a briefcase. He opened it, and it had a photo and a cloak with a note. He took the cloak out and kept the photo in his pocket. First, he read the note, which said, "The moment you find this cloak, I will be gone from all the timelines, and you are the one chosen to unite all the timelines." " When you wear this cloak, you will be taken to see Uncle Max, who will talk to you and tell you about your powers.

After reading the note, he wore the cloak and got vaporized, then came into a field with an old man. Skylar was there; he went near her and hugged her and said, "I thought I lost you." She said, "I knew you would open the door and come here." "It is our destiny to be together; now go to Uncle Max and talk to him." As Skylar was talking, suddenly Cavil kissed her. And by that time, Uncle Max came there and said, "Ahem! You kids start anywhere." Cavil said, "I did not see you," and Skylar blushed and went inside. Uncle Max said, "Come follow me." Uncle Max took him into a room. The whole room was white and shiny. The moment he entered, the door vanished, and it was only Uncle Max and Cavil in the room. Uncle Max said, "Son, sit down in the chair." Cavil said, "Which chair"? A chair came from nowhere, and Uncle Max said, "This is the chair I was talking about." "How did you do that?" "That is just awesome; can I also do that?" asked Cavil. "Son, you can do a lot of things, but let me do something that I can do," said Uncle Max. Cavil asked, "How did you get the powers?" "What is your story?" "Did you also eat the god fruit?" "Relax, son." "First sit down, and I will tell you about the lineage you are carrying," said Max.
