Chapter 6 – The Eye of Destiny part 1

"So you taught him?" Asks Abigail.

"No, I only met him by sight at school," said Sebastian. "But those eyes, they don't look like an eight year old's, you can't forget something like that."

"I understand," said Abigail.

"And the plan is to find out where he is," said Andrea.

"It will take us a long time," says Abigail. "Searching country by country in this complicated situation, I can't imagine."

"I can save you the trips, telling you it's in Zasorial," says Andrea.

"In the biggest country of all, no wonder nobody knows where it is," Sebastian argues.

"We're going to Zasorial then," says Abigail, turning around to pack her things. Sebastian gets up and does the same.

"I'll wait here while they gather their belongings," said Andrea hopefully.

And so Abigail, about to embark on a long journey to Zasorial, will know what destiny has in store for her. A complex plan with uncertainty in her chest.

When Abigail and Sebastián leave the Small house with their bags packed, and Andrea is waiting for them. They are approached by an android who came up the steps unannounced.

"Hello, I'm NF26Y," he says in a robotic voice. Of average size, he is wearing a dark blue tunic and a two-tone black and white cape, his limbs are grayish. "I bring a message from the Central Country."

"Yes, what is the message NF26Y?" Andrea asks intrigued.

"Torrenders, wait one more hour before leaving," says NF26Y. "Another helicopter with experimental supplies is on its way."

"One hour? Why wait any longer? We are in a hurry," says Abigail. Sebastian looks at her as if telling her to calm down.

"Experimental, you say?" Sebastian asks the android.

"The package contains energy drink and extra food for a long journey," says NF26Y. "They're the only Torrenders, we need them alive."

"Let's wait, there are two of us for the moment," says Sebastian. "The Rocs Dark are not easy." He says quietly, to avoid the subject.

"I never insisted on asking, master, because three years ago it was a tragedy," Abigail explains to herself. "What are the Rocs Dark like, master?"

"They are big... more than two meters, as everybody knows," says Sebastian. "But they are more than that." He feels the memories weighing on him.

"More than that?" Abigail is curious. "I know I will see one face to face in Saiso."

Andrea looks at Sebastian with curiosity, without saying anything, she also wants to know about the Rocs Dark.

"Even though they are heavy and big, they are not slow," Sebastian says. "They are also very strong."

"Then they're as fast as a Torrender," Abigail worries.

"Not like a Torrender," says Sebastian, "They're better than a Torrender."

Abigail and Andrea are surprised by what they hear.

"What... aaat... aaa..." Abigail stuttered, "The Rocs Dark, are they that powerful?"

"That's why I never told you about them, Abigail," Sebastian explained. "Their existence is demotivating."

"I..." Abigail can't find the words, she can hardly assimilate it.

"That's why I wanted to come to The Frozen Mountains of Nanun," says Sebastian. "So that you can master your power and also develop your best technique."

"The Superwind..." Abigail doesn't pronounce the full name and thinks of possibilities. My best technique? How can I hit something so fast, even if I master my technique? As soon as I realize it, I'll be finished.

"I know what you're assuming, Abigail," Sebastian replies, "and I understand, it's not easy.

"It's crazy," says Andrea, "so the Lost Hero? It's a lie, he never fought against the Rocs Dark." She gets discouraged.

"The truth is..." Sebastian pauses before answering. "Dracír was in Saiso, we Torrenders barely survived, but..."

"What?" Asks Abigail.

"There is no Torrender that defeats the Rocs Dark," Sebastian confesses.

Abigail and Andrea's skin crawls, a sensation colder than the weather.

"With the exception of Dracír, he outclasses the Torrenders," Sebastian continues. "Although we consider him a Torrender, he is different."

"Does he surpass the Torrenders?" Abigail wondered slowly, trying to assimilate the power of the Rocs Dark and now she hears that Dracír is one of the powerful ones. It seems like an unreachable world to her.

"I don't understand why he retired," Sebastian says. "The last time I saw him was in Saiso and his last words were, I'm retiring for the sake of the future."

"What did Dracír mean?" Andrea asks doubtfully.

"I'm not sure, maybe to stimulate the others to fight for themselves, I don't know," says Sebastian.

"That was worse! He's gone, no one protected Torren, or Finare, or anyone else." To Abigail tears almost came to his eyes.

"Finare's fall surprised me, but I can't imagine Dracír abandoning someone," says Sebastian.

"The General Director thinks so too," Andrea interjects. "He contacted me, explained the plan." He sighs and then says, "a plan about you and your master, in the hope that they will find Dracír."

"But there's not much we can do," said Abigail in sorrow.

"I didn't know that Dracír could be the unique. The director didn't tell me anything," said Andrea resignedly.

"I told the Director about Abigail some time ago. You have talent," Sebastian looks at his student, her is self-consciously. "Now we are here with this plan, we won't be like Dracír, but we can get to Saiso with his guidance."

Abigail does not know what to think, she has never met Dracír, not even by sight.

"It's time to go president," says NF26Y in her robotic voice. "The next helicopter is on its way."

"All right, I wish you success," says Andrea and hugs Abigail. "Take care of yourself, see you soon."

"Yes, you too," says Abigail.

"See you later, President," says Sebastian.

"See you later, Sebastian, take care of Abigail," says Andrea saying goodbye.

"Always..." Sebastian nods.

She goes down the steps, and the android follows her to the helicopter, they get on the helicopter and take their respective seats. The pilot turns on the propellers, ascends and flies northwest.
