Chapter 5 – Uncertainty part 2

There is a trap door in the middle of the Small house that gives access to provisions such as food, water and clothing. And near the entrance is the fuel and solar stove. The solar type is difficult to recharge during long storms.

Six hours later, the snowstorm stopped.

Abigail sitting on the same elongated training rock, is cross-legged with her eyes closed, maintains an uninterrupted inner concentration. However, in the distance she hears a helicopter, she opens her eyes and sees a black helicopter heading towards them. They brought us supplies so soon, she thinks.

Her master, who was taking a nap at the time, heard the helicopter as well. The sound of the propellers gets louder. To tell the truth, Sebastian didn't have much to do; he has been teaching Abigail for four years, among the little he lacks is mastering his best technique.

When the sound of the propellers is heard nearby, Sebastian rises from the almost comfortable bed and leaves the Small house. The smoked-glass helicopter positions itself to descend onto the rock-style runway. A runway of his own making.

"We have visitors!" Sebastian exclaims. "It's time to uncover the steps." He raises his right arm with his hand outstretched, pointing down the slope. They are made of flattened rocks that are currently covered with snow, the landing strip is further down from the Small house.

"Master, I'll do it," Abigail interrupts, standing up. "The twenty steps are nothing to me."

"Okay, you do it."

Abigail steps down from the training rock and walks further to the edge of the precipice. She focuses her gaze pretending to guess the steps on the slope, with open hands points in direction: in palms forms fast, concentrated balls of Air shooting them from each hand; creates more spheres instantly.

The balls crash against the slope, the shockwaves splash the snow sideways uncovering the steps.

The helicopter descends to the runway, the crew members watch the spectacle.

"Ready!" says Abigail happily.

"So there were twenty-two spheres," Sebastian counted.

"So you noticed?" She asks, turning around and looking at him.

"Let's say I have a lot of free time and I'm still your Torrender master."

"How fussy!" She exclaimed, "I only missed twice, there was snow over there." She said grimly.

"Well, I admit it, you did a good job," said Sebastian, and Abigail smiled.

The Torrenders see a woman in white executive clothing in the distance, wearing a black cape with a hood over her head. There are two companions who do not get off, they are dressed in dark blue tunics with black and white bicolor capes.

"So we have a visit from Nanun," says Sebastian, also approaching the shore.

The woman climbing the steps. Abigail recognizes her halfway up, her red hair sticking out a little from the hood.

As she reaches them, Abigail approaches.

"Andrea!" Abigail exclaimed, giving her a hug.

"Abigail, how are you?" Andrea replies, receiving the hug.

"The president of Nanun herself is visiting us!" Sebastian exclaimed. "It's been a long time, to what do we owe the honor?"

"Hello Sebastian, it's been a long time, hasn't it?" commented Andrea. "It's been months since I've seen you and I didn't remember how cold it is here.

"And you're wearing your thermal layer," says Abigail.

"Did you arrive alone, is the pilot afraid of us?" Asks Sebastian ironically.

"Not exactly, I came with two companions. They are androids from the Central Country," comments Andrea.

"Then you've come a long way," says Sebastian.

"But I don't bring good news," said Andrea uncomfortably.

"What happened?" Abigail worries.

"Well... you see..." Andrea takes a deep breath. "Finare fell at the hands of the Rocs Dark."

When Abigail and Sebastian heard those words, an unsettling chill ran through their bodies. Finare is the place where they grew up and lived all their lives, in the country there is a city full of Torrenders, a news they don't expect to hear.

"Is this happening?" Sebastian, falling into a sitting position, asked a question into the air. He remembers the last time he saw his wife and son.

"I don't know how it happened, and I wish I did," said Andrea sadly.

Abigail does not know how to react, she is motionless. Her parents died years ago of a strange illness and she has been alone ever since, except for the company of the Torrender master.

Three years ago.

On a day like any other, the Rocs Dark invaded the country of Saiso in the blink of an eye, also known as the Kingdom of Gold. Hundreds of the original residents were rescued by the Torrenders, but most did not manage to survive.

Many predicted the beginning of chaos, the end between endings, and nothing came to pass. In the following months, there was an apparent calm; the appearance of the Rocs Dark was related to the Torren Event where the Torrenders were born, however, there are doubts about it. From the country of Finare to Saiso is a great distance, there is the sea and three countries in between, it is very unlikely that a horde of living rocks would wander between nations without being seen.

The Frozen Mountains of Nanun, today.

"They were all kidnapped," Andrea explains. "But we can still bring them back home."

"They are in Saiso, right?" Sebastian asked uncomfortably.

"Yes, all the giant ships went to Saiso," says Andrea.

"Then we're leaving," Abigail got up the courage to speak."Take us there."

"I've also come to tell a plan, one that includes the Lost Hero," Andrea mentions.

"The Lost Hero?" Sebastian mutters. "That's the plan."

"They say he retired because he's old," says Abigail.

"What do you mean, old? Dracír is younger than me," answers Sebastián.

"To the Torrenders is not very age noticeable," says Andrea. "I never knew how old he is.

"Dracír will be thirty-seven or thirty-eight," answers Sebastián.

"Did you know him, Maestro?" asks Abigail.

"Not literally, we studied at the same school," says Sebastian. "The first time I saw him, Dracír was a child and I was a teacher at that school.
