Chapter 8 The Family Conspiracy

"Absolutely! Go catch Nolan and confront him right away. Naomi can then divorce him without giving him anything. Let's see how he'll react this time!" Anya promptly replied.

"That's a brilliant idea. But we don't know his current whereabouts!" Lindy also expressed her enthusiasm, thinking this could be an opportunity to push for Nolan's divorce and Naomi's marriage to Harvey.

"It's simple! I just need to make a call!"

At that moment, Rowley, who had been observing the situation from a distance, approached with a smile.

Rowley was engaged to Delia and would soon become a part of the Watkins family. He naturally wanted to leave a positive impression on them.

"Really?" Delia looked surprised, eager to seize the chance to ridicule Naomi.

"Of course! I happen to be the regional manager at the delivery company where Nolan works. Give me a moment, and I can pinpoint his exact location, so we can go find him. He won't escape!" Rowley said proudly.

"Wow! You're amazing!" Delia hugged and kissed Rowley, urging him to locate Nolan quickly.

Rowley winked at his secretary, who made a phone call. They soon found Nolan's scooter's specific location.

"Let's go catch him!" Delia was now brimming with excitement, anticipating the opportunity to mock Naomi.

"Delia, today is your engagement day with Rowley. How can we let that loser ruin it? Let me handle it. I'm good at fighting. With my guys, I guarantee he won't get away with it!" Elliot, Delia's younger brother, offered.

"Elliot is right. We can't let that loser delay your engagement. Elliot, we entrust this task to you!" Sally agreed.

"Don't worry, grandma. I'll teach him a lesson and get justice for Naomi! I'm live streaming this now. You can watch and tell me what you want to do with him!"

Elliot took out his phone and began the live stream, inviting all the present guests to join.

After Elliot left with his men, the Watkins family turned their attention to Rowley and Harvey.

"Mr. Holland, you're truly resourceful. You solved this with just one phone call!"

"And we owe Mr. Bates a big thanks. If it weren't for him, we'd have been kept in the dark by that loser!"

"Mr. Holland and Delia, and Mr. Bates and Naomi, they make perfect couples! The Watkins family will prosper even more with them!"

Hearing the praise for her fiancé, Delia looked proudly at Naomi, who seemed preoccupied.

Women often compared themselves to each other.

Delia had always felt inferior to Naomi in terms of looks and business acumen, so she relished seeing Naomi humiliated.

Now, with her husband excelling and Naomi's husband labeled a loser, she felt victorious.

Watching the live stream, Naomi was torn. She worried about Nolan's safety, afraid that her cousin would harm him. At the same time, she was furious. If Nolan had really cheated on her, she would divorce him without hesitation!

Following Rowley's location tip, Elliot drove with his men and quickly located Nolan's scooter.

He expected it would take some time to find Nolan, but he was surprised to see Nolan eating takeout food on a nearby bench.

"Nolan! How dare you cheat on my cousin!"

Elliot pointed his phone at Nolan and approached him aggressively with his men.

Nolan looked up, with food still in his mouth, furrowing his brow as he gazed at the approaching Elliot in confusion.

"Stop pretending! Mr. Bates showed us photos of your affair, and Rowley tracked your location here. I've brought my men to confront you today, and the entire Watkins family is watching!" Elliot said in a condescending tone as he neared Nolan.

Only then did Nolan realize that Harvey had falsely accused him and Rowley had helped. As for Elliot, he was just being used by the other two.

The entire Watkins family must be gathered, waiting to witness Nolan getting beaten up.

Nolan had no desire to explain. He raised his middle finger at the camera, stood up, and headed toward his scooter, intending to leave the scene.

"You want to run away? Hell no!" Elliot exclaimed angrily. He handed his phone to his subordinate and prepared to kick Nolan in the back of the head.
