Chapter 7 Nolan Is Having An Affair

Tonight was the engagement ceremony of Delia and Rowley, the son of the Holland family.

The Watkins family had arrived early at Cloudveil Hotel. Sally took charge of the situation, with Lindy and Delia sitting beside her.

Naomi's uncle, Galen Watkins, and his son, Elliot Watkins, were busy preparing for the event with the hotel staff.

After lunch, Harvey persistently bothered Naomi throughout the afternoon. In the evening, he drove her to the hotel. Then the two of them entered the hall and approached Sally.

When Galen saw Naomi, he wiped the sweat from his forehead and walked over with a long face.

"Naomi, didn't I tell you to ask that loser to help out with the decorations in the hall? Why isn't he here?"

Naomi was still upset about Nolan's earlier behavior. "He's busy, so he won't be coming today." She frowned.

Before Galen could lose his temper, Sally heavily knocked her cane on the floor. "How dare he! If he isn't coming, we will be short of hand here!"

Lindy and the others were also furious.

"Calm down. Don't get wound up because of someone as useless as that."

"He's been living under the Watkins family roof for three years, and he doesn't bother to help when he can. What a jerk!"

Galen urged Naomi, "Can't you see that your grandmother is angry? Call him and ask him to come over now!"

Left with no choice, Naomi took out her phone and called Nolan in front of them.

"What's up?" Nolan said coldly.

"Nolan! I don't care what you are doing. Come and help out now, or... " Galen shouted at her phone before Naomi could say anything.

"I'm busy!" Nolan uttered coldly and hung up on him.

Galen snatched Naomi's phone in frustration and dialed Nolan's number once more. However, this time, Nolan didn't pick up.

With Harvey present, everyone grew even more exasperated, feeling deeply humiliated.

Naomi didn't say anything, but her expression continued to darken.

Seeing Nolan's absence, Harvey sneered. Right after the humiliating incident at the restaurant, he had his men create fake photos of Nolan being unfaithful, intending to show them to Naomi at the right moment.

Now was the best opportunity for him to do so.

Harvey took out his phone and pretended to have received a message.

"It seems like Nolan is busy having an affair."

"What?" The Watkins stopped cursing and turned to look at Harvey.

Harvey showed everyone the photo on his phone. In the image, Nolan was walking down the street with a woman in his arms, and they seemed to be talking and laughing intimately.

Sally was so furious that she spat out blood on the spot. The Watkins family members were horrified, rushing to assist her and calling 911 for help.

"That loser! How dare he cheat on my granddaughter!" Sally had hardly soothed her breath when she cursed vehemently.

"What a disgrace! He doesn't respect my daughter at all. And he didn't even bother to hide his affair? When I see him, I'm so going to teach him a lesson!"

"That's right! How dare he cheat on my sister?"

Lindy and Naomi's sister, Anya Watkins cursed through their gnashed teeth in anger.

Nolan was indeed good for nothing. However, Naomi wondered if that was really him in the photo. He didn't seem to be someone who would betray her.

Harvey had been watching Naomi's reaction closely. When he noticed her skeptical frown, he quickly said, "Naomi, the evidence is undeniable. If you don't believe it, we can catch him in the act!"
