Chapter 5 5

He was notified by the lady. She wanted him to leave them alone so that she could treat her without having to remove her clothing first.

"Nora, Take off all of her clothes and thoroughly examine her body since she has cuts all over... Please let me know when you are finished."

He issued the command while maintaining his uncertain stare at Eira.

"Yes... Alpha..."

After hearing the lady's response, he emerged from his master bedroom.

When she was finished with all of the work, she changed into a white gown that was knee length and would be comfy for her. The lady exited the premises after providing the Alpha with her report.

After returning to his quarters, he took a look at his flatmate, who was unconscious and injured while laying on the bed. The room was filled with her wonderful fragrance, and although his wolf was pleading to be let out so that they could mark one other and mate, he knew that this was not the appropriate time and that he needed to exert self-control.

Amber eyes filled with concern were cast in her direction by the Alpha as he sat on the bed next to her. He moved the white hair away from her face in a soft and careful manner. She looked radiant in the moonlight that was streaming in through the window and hitting her. He lightly ran his hands through her platinum white hair as he did so.

"The same hair, the same eyes, the same voice... Even if everything is exactly the same, you are unique. Is this some sick joke that Destiny is playing with me, or am I constantly supposed to battle for what it is that I want and what is rightfully mine?"

He murmured while making expressions on his face that suggested he was in a great deal of discomfort.

When he lightly caressed her delicate cheek, a spark lit throughout his entire body, and the feeling spread throughout his entire body like a wildfire. He is conscious of the fact that she is his mate.

"Why are you like this, mate?..."

He inquired, though not to anyone in particular.

"You are still a human being; if you are so advanced, why haven't you evolved yet? You do not belong in this human existence; you are more at home in the woods. You are the queen of this darkness, and I expect you to rule with me... You are mine, and I'm not going to let go of you this time. I solemnly swear to you that you shall be mine. This holy relationship will emerge victorious this time..."

He moved his fingers over her thick and supple hair in a leisurely manner.

"I promise... History won't repeat itself..."
