"But why did Father bring me here? I don't mind my life in the village school."

"Not anymore, Vara."

I strongly refused and ran away, leaving my father behind. I kept running to go home, I really didn't want to be in the asylum, leaving David, who was in a chaotic situation.

"Vara?"

"David!!"

I ran into his arms, hugging him tightly, and cursing behind his back.

"Please, take me far away from Father."

"Alright."

David's hand tightly held mine as he led me away from my father's pursuit until our footsteps brought us face to face with Clair.

"How long do you intend to hide your identity, Vampire?"

"Vampire?" I asked, very confused, looking into her eyes.

"You've hurt the villagers too much already. Go away from me now!! David, go back to the castle immediately."

"Clair, let her find peace."

"There's no time for that, David. Let Arnold suck her blood and make her realize that she's a Vampire!"

"Wait, am I a vampire?" I asked again, just to make sure if what they were saying was true or not.

"You're a vampire, your soul resists the fact that you are a vampire, that's why you didn't realize you've hurt many villagers."

I was shocked, making my head ache. My hands slowly grabbed my hair tightly, frustrated that I couldn't accept the reality that I might be a vampire.

"I'm a vampire? No, I'm not a vampire, I'm just an ordinary woman. What's wrong with the villagers here? They've gone insane to call me a vampire. No, there must be a real vampire who has hurt my fellow villagers, I have to find them."

I kept muttering to myself, I couldn't accept the reality that I might actually be a vampire. It was impossible. I slowly opened my eyes, seeing David, the man I loved, sensually biting Clair's neck and drinking her blood. My heart ached terribly.

"David, what are you doing?" I asked firmly, my voice sounding resolute and emphasized.

"You're just a vampire with impure blood, you can't get close to my lover, David, a pure-blooded vampire."

"David, a pure-blooded vampire?"

I burst into laughter, hearing his confession. It was impossible for David to be a pure-blooded vampire because he had turned into a vampire due to the bite he received that night.

"So, you're the one who turned David into a vampire." I pointed at Clair with a sharp look.

My soul writhed in anger, I really wanted to kill her. I wanted to erase the woman whose blood was being sucked by the man I loved. I looked at my fingers, which had become long and pointed at the tips.

"What is this? Why am I changing?! Who am I really?"

A few days ago...

All the villagers placed a lot of garlic outside their homes, and some even hung garlic around their necks. They said it was for protection, to ward off vampires.

"Mom, what's that?"

A young child pointed to a dark figure, flying gracefully through the forest.

"Don't point at them like that. Let's go inside quickly."

"Mom, who is she?"

"A vampire."

The arrival of a female vampire had shocked the villagers in the rural area.

"It took a long time to capture that female vampire."

A group of schoolchildren discussed the vampire that had alarmed the entire village.

"Who do you think the vampire is, Clair?"

"Who is the weirdest person in this school?"

Their eyes turned to the seat where a woman who was often bullied sat.

"The strange girl."

"So, she's the village head's daughter."

"Disgraceful."

"Disgusting, get away from her."

Harsh words were spoken. There was a commotion from David's table, he was famous in school and always the center of attention for all the girls.

"David, where are you going?"

David didn't answer Clair's question, he didn't care about the admiring gazes of the girls. He walked past them, holding a pillow in his hand, and made his way to the school's storage room.

"Are you very sleepy?"

David approached a girl with pale skin and a weary look.

"David."

"Come here."

David held Vara's face and directed her lips to his neck, causing Vara to sink her fangs into his neck and gently suck. The extraordinary sensation made David gasp, and the strength of Vara's suction on his neck made him bite his lower lip and clutch his clothes, channeling the incredible sensation.
