Chapter 10 The VIP Pass

"What are you talking about, brat? Do you want to get slapped?"

"Get this rapist out of here!"

The entire Selleck family cursed with gritted teeth.

They felt relieved that Meade hadn't given an invitation to Randolph. After all, if this guy were there with them and offended the big shot, the whole family would be in great trouble.

Erica was so enraged that her hands were on her hips, and her plump breasts heaved up and down as she seethed.

"Brinley, are you blind? Why did you fall in love with a man who only knows how to brag and talk nonsense?"

Tears began welling in Brinley's sad face as she stared at Randolph in disappointment.

She hated those who boasted the most. When did Randolph become like this?

Despite her trepidation, Brinley still defended Randolph, "He's just joking! Please don't take his words seriously."

When he saw his beloved woman acting so humbly in his stead, Randolph couldn't help but feel saddened by it.

He took a step forward and stood in front of Brinley like a shield, protecting her from everyone present. One by one, he cast a cold glance at every member of the Selleck family.

"Every word I've said was true. If you don't believe me, then just wait for the mayor's banquet tomorrow. At that time, not only will you be able to attend it, but we will also become the focus of the entire banquet!"

Randolph was so confident in his pronouncement that it rendered everyone silent.

They all looked at one another in perplexity, wondering if this guy really had the means to attend the banquet.

Brinley's heart was racing while her eyes were fixed on Randolph.

He was so self-assured that his words managed to convince her!

Meanwhile, Julissa scoffed and laughed sarcastically. "Okay. Then I'll give you this chance! If we end up not attending this banquet, then you'll have to break up with my daughter!"

Randolph nodded without hesitation.

The next day, because Randolph was so confident that they'd be able to attend the banquet, Brinley didn't waste a second and focused all of her energy on preparing a bid proposal.

She spent the entire morning holed up in the company working on this.

After several revisions, she was finally able to come up with a perfect bid proposal.

Brinley looked down at the finished documents in her hands and smiled in relief. "It's finally done."

Randolph stepped forward and gently massaged Brinley's shoulders. "You really are the best," he praised.

A sweet smile broke on Brinley's lips. "Oh, shut up!"

Even though her words sounded reproachful, the happy expression on her face suggested otherwise.

She put the bid proposal into the drawer, stood up, and pulled Randolph out.

"Let's go out for a meal," she invited.

Not long after the two of them left, the office door suddenly swung open.

Erica sneaked in and tiptoed her way to Brinley's desk. Quickly, she rummaged through the documents inside the drawer.

"Where did that bitch put her bid proposal?" she muttered to herself.

Finally, she found a document entitled "bid proposal" inside the drawer. Once she confirmed its contents, she smiled complacently.

"You want to impress grandpa and become the CEO again? Keep dreaming, bitch!"

Erica snatched the bid proposal and replaced it with blank papers before leaving the office.

At night, in Southsure Manor, Randolph arrived with Brinley and her parents.

Outside, there were so many luxury cars that one might mistake the occasion as a luxury car show.

Amidst the crowd, the women were all adorned in opulent and expensive jewelry that added a radiant allure to their appearance. Meanwhile, the men exuded an air of regality, dressed impeccably in attire.

Their presence alone highlighted how important this banquet was.

As Meade, Kabir, together with his daughter and wife, arrived at the event, their eyes fell upon Randolph and Brinley.

Suddenly, Erica's face turned cold. "These people really have the nerve to show their faces here!"

Meade narrowed his eyes as he quickly approached Brinley.

Today, Brinley was wearing a long white dress that accentuated her slim figure. Together with her luscious hair, she looked like a lotus blooming under the moonlight.

The nobility and elegance that she exuded couldn't be denied.

"Brinley, if you break up with this loser right now, I can immediately ask someone to give you an invitation," Meade offered.

When Julissa heard this, her face burst in excitement. She gritted her teeth and said, "What are you waiting for, you silly girl? Say yes already!"

However, Brinley shook her head. "Thank you, but I believe that Randolph will let us in!"

Meade scoffed and sneered, "You ungrateful woman. This banquet is specially reserved for high-class people! Even the guards here are mobilized from the local military! Only a select number of people in Crystalville are qualified to get an invitation. I'd like to see how you'll get in!"

Hearing this, Randolph simply smirked. "I said that I can get us in even without an invitation."

Erica's eyes turned cold as she let out a contemptuous chuckle. "You're just a loser who only knows how to brag. Now that we're at the entrance of the banquet, you still have the guts to pretend?"

Meade sneered and chimed in, "Well, if you're so confident that you can go in, then I'll be waiting for you inside."

After saying that, he turned around and led Kabir's family into the hall.

Once they left, Kieran and Julissa turned to Randolph. With fierce eyes, they scolded, "You better have a way to let us in. Otherwise, stay away from my daughter this instant!"

Even though they still believed that Randolph was bragging, deep in their hearts, they had a glimmer of expectation that what he was saying was true.

"Don't worry," Randolph assured them with a confident smile. "Just follow me."

Then, he led Brinley and her parents towards a secluded corner. This entrance was reserved for VIP guests.

As soon as the guards saw Randolph, they straightened their backs and let him continue walking forward without any intention of stopping him at all.

Kieran and Julissa watched in awe as they entered the banquet with Randolph. They were amazed that no one had stopped them.

Once they arrived at the banquet, their eyes widened in disbelief.

On the other side, the rest of the Selleck family who had entered the hall with Meade suddenly saw several familiar people in front of them.

Erica's face turned pale as though she had seen a ghost. "They... They really got in?" she stammered.

At this time, Randolph turned around.

All of a sudden, Kabir and the others stood still like statues, their jaws slacked and their mouths agape. "How is that possible?"
