"Na... Natasha?" Emma asked, using her left and right index fingers to wipe the tears that had built up in her eyes. Natasha kept staring at Emma without saying a word.
"Natasha, you... Your hair..." Emma said with hesitation in her voice. She took a step towards Natasha, and Natasha stepped back. Emma quickly ran in the opposite direction, and Natasha let out a sigh of relief, it seemed she had been waiting for it. "YOUR HAIR IS ON FIRE!!!" Emma yelled suddenly, coming out of the kitchen with a large bowl of ice cold water.
"YOU CAN SEE ME??" Natasha yelled and hopped back in shock. Emma threw the large bowl at Natasha and as the water splashed on her face, her orange glow faded.
"Ughhh, now I'm all cold and wet!" Natasha said as water dripped from her shirt. "I'm so sorry, that was just instinct. Your hair was on fire and I didn't know- Should I get you a blanket?" Emma asked. "Yeah that would be nice, thank you!" Natasha said walking back to the living room.

"Exactly what are you doing in my house so late at night?" Emma asked, handing the thick white blanket to Natasha. "You almost died just now, and that's the first question that could pop up in your head?" Natasha said with an upset look on her face.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." Emma apologised, then fell on her couch, placing her left palm on her head. "I followed Tasha here..." Natasha said. Emma sat up as she heard this. "You mean, you knew she would try to kill me?" Emma asked
"Yeah, kinda..." Natasha answered feeling a little cornered by the question, she didn't want to have to explain everything that had just happened to Emma.
Emma got up from her seat and began pacing around. "A lot of weird things have been happening to me lately. A few days ago I had this weird dream where I was attacked by a wolf-man and a guy wearing armour came to rescue me, I don't even remember what he looks like." Emma ranted as she walked.
"And now I find out my worst enemy is a freaking insectoid demon!" Emma continued.
Natasha let out a sigh, "Tasha wasn't an insectoid Demon, she was possessed by an insectoid demon. It must have attached itself to her because it got a whiff of her anger towards you or something..." She said, wrapping herself up in the blanket.
"How come you know so much about this?" Emma asked, squinting her eyes. Natasha went silent the moment she realised she had slipped, "Uhh... Lucky guess..." She said with a smile.
"Lucky guess my ass. Your hair was on fire and everything! So you better start talking because I'm about to lose my mind right now!" Emma yelled, pointing her finger at Natasha.
"Fine, fine, I'll explain, just sit your butt down," Natasha said, and Emma fell back on her seat. "Okay, so, My name is NATASHA HELLBIRD as you already know, and I come from a family of dangerous fire-breathing birds called Phoenixes.
"You... You're a phoenix? My ex-coworker is a Phoenix. I knew it, I'm going crazy..." Emma said, massaging the sides of her head with her fingers.
Natasha pulled the blanket off her body, then got up from the couch she was seated on. "I'll show you," She said, then her body burst into golden flames.
"See?" Natasha said as her eyes glowed an orange colour, her hair burnt upwards and her body was completely covered in what looked like a dress made out of flames.
"Beautiful..." Emma said.
~A few moments later~
"I'm so sorry Emma, I didn't mean to..." Natasha said, trying to console Emma. "Why is my life so miserable..." Emma said, crying as she crouched on the ground.
A fire truck had arrived and they struggled to put out Natasha's golden flames. She had accidently set Emma's entire house on fire, and nothing the firemen did could put it out.
A few minutes after the firemen arrived, one of them came rushing out of the building with something in his arms, "She's still alive, get an ambulance." He yelled as he carried Tasha out of the building.
"Wait, I thought... I thought she turned to smoke or something," Emma said, sounding shocked. "The demon that possessed her turned to smoke, not her. I didn't want to hurt the girl, so I burnt only the demon inside her," Natasha replied.
Emma watched the flames on her house grow. Natasha helped her up, and both of them took a cab and drove off.
A very far distance from Emma's burning house, a shadowy figure stood at the top of a skyscraper, watching. His cape billowed in the wind, and his sword hung from behind him, Daniel's emerald green eyes glimmered in the moonlight, "Hmph!" He scoffed, then said, "Phoenixes, Amateurs."

Nicole walked into a large living room. The clicking of her shoe echoed loudly, and as she got in, she rested her back on a wall in the room. "You called for me?" She said, staring at one of the larger couches in the room.
"Yes, daughter. My messenger tells me that you've been keeping human friends?" A bold male voice sounded from the other side of the couch. "Oh, so she's a snitch too..." Nicole said.
"I could slit your throat now if I so wished..." Athena's voice sounded from behind Nicole. "Hold your horses Athena, she may have sinned greatly, but don't forget she's my daughter..." The bold voice said.
"Yes my lord... I apologise," Athena said.
"Nova..." The man seated on the couch called. "Yes father.." Nicole answered. "Do you know why humans can't see those of the higher order?" He asked, and Nicole replied, "Yes, father."
"It's because they are not worthy, they are unclean, they fear what they do not understand and destroy what they cannot have. Mingling with them too much slowly makes you become one of them." Nicole said.
"Very good Nova..." The man commended. "Do not defy my orders... Again, there will be consequences."
"Death?" Nicole asked, and he replied, "Oh my child, disobey me again and you would call death.... A BLESSING."
