"How do I explain this now?" Natasha said, rubbing her forehead with right palm. Emma had followed Natasha home to spend the night but couldn't go to sleep as she wanted Natasha to explain everything to her.
"First of all, where did you come from?" Emma asked, Natasha let out a sigh, then replied, "It's a place humans can never ever see, it's called the higher plane, where beings of the higher order dwell."
"What do you mean, beings of the higher order?" Emma asked, looking a little confused. "Mystical beings like fairies, dragons , demons , unicorns , ponies, stuff like that..." Natasha answered.
"So humans aren't allowed to see this place?" Emma asked again. "Yeah, I mean humans don't have the ability to see the place or the beings that dwell in it. Somehow, you were able to see me in my pheonix form and that is something I totally do not understand!" Natasha said as a headache began building up in her head.
"That means the dream I thought was a dream wasn't a dream! I really got attacked by a werewolf! Oh my goodness, I need to lie down." Emma said as she placed her head on the couch and closed her eyes.
Natasha got up from where she sat, and walked to her room. She clicked her door open and walked to a widow beside her bed. Staring down at the city, she said, "Demons aren't supposed to be able to cross into this world, what's going on?"

"Good morning Miss. Jackson." Bruce said as Emma took a seat in front of him. "Good morning sir..." Emma replied with a little stutter. Emma was very nervous, she kept on staring at the table, and right from the moment she walked into the office, not once did she look directly at Bruce's face.
"My sincere apologies for my behaviour at our last meeting Emma." Bruce said with a subtle tone.
Emma raised her head as she heard this, "What?" She asked, her eyes wide open.
Bruce let out a short giggle, the said, "A friend of mine would love to see you in his office." He got up from where he sat then walked toward the door, "would you mind coming with me," He said with a smile.
"The fuck Is going on?" Emma asked in her head. She got up from where she sat, and followed Bruce out of his office.
Bruce led Emma to another office a short distance from his, and clicked open the door. As the door opened, Emma's eyes opened wide in reaction to who she saw sitting behind the desk.
"YOU!!" Emma exclaimed, "Daniel, Daniel Gryphon. I'm the lead designer in this firm." Daniel said with an emotionless look on his face.
"I'll leave you two now..." Bruce said, then exited the office and shut the door.
"Have a seat Miss Jackson!" Daniel said still with a plane look. "What's... What's going on?" Emma asked, and Daniel replied, pulling out Emma's drawing from his drawer.
"Two days ago, someone submitted this drawing to dci.co, our application portal, and she got invited here for an interview. On seeing this drawing, I asked her to recreate it from scratch right in front of me, but she failed miserably and that led me to the conclusion that she stole it." Daniel said, lying directly in Emma's face.
He knew for a fact that Emma couldn't recall the events of their encounter on the night of the werewolf attack. The dress Emma had designed was in reference to the amour she saw in what she thought was a dream, and that was really what led Daniel to his conclusion.
"Bruce told me about you, and that's why you're here..." Daniel continued.
Tears started to gather in Emma's eyes as she heard Daniel's words, "Thank you so much, I thought my life was over! I thought my dreams would go down the drain." Emma said as she widened the tears pouring out her eyes.
"You still have to pass the test," Daniel said. Emma stopped crying, and asked, "Test?"
"Re-create this design, You have 5 minutes..." Daniel said, then pulled out a sketch book and a pencil.
Emma stared at the materials that were placed before her, and picked them up, her hands vibrating involuntarily as she lifted the pencil.
"This Emma is kinda different..." Daniel thought to himself.

"I GOT THE JOB!!" Emma exclaimed as she spoke through the phone with Nicole. "Congratulations girl!" Nicole said with excitement. "Thanks, and guess what, it comes with a penthouse and a brand new car!" Emma said. The smile on her face was undying, at this point it seemed like nothing could spoil her mood.
"We totally need to celebrate!!" Nicole yelled. "White wings?" Emma asked, and Nicole replied, with words that killed the mood, "No way, there's no way I'm taking you to a club again. Who knows what you'll do next, cut off somebody's arm?"
Was Emma really capable of that? Throughout the years Emma and Nicole had been friends, she knew Emma with a 'Do it better than everyone else' attitude and at times it went from crazy to totally insane. Although smashing someone's head with a bottle was a brand new addition to the list, Nicole wasn't sure what to expect next.
"Oh common, it was only one time, and it was totally the guys fault," Emma said, entering a cafeteria. "No way Emma, we're going somewhere less dangerous and more fun tonight..." Nicole said, then the call cut.
Emma pulled out a seat in the cafeteria, and fell on it. "I'm so tired..." she said as the waitress walked towards her. "What would you like, Miss?" She asked, and Emma replied, "A bottle of water please..."
Coincidentally, Jaden walked past the cafeteria and noticed Emma inside. He thought for a moment if he should walk to say hi, but then shoved the idea and continued with his walk.

"Im... Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you Emma." Jaden said between sobs as he stared at himself in his mirror. He was in a dark room and the only light that could be seen was one that stretched into the room through the gap between the door and its frame.
Jaden stared at his reflection in the mirror for a few seconds, then threw his fist at it as he burst into tears.
"I'm sorry..." He said softly.
The room went quiet again. The shadows on its walls and on the floor began to stretch in Jaden's direction. It was as if they had come to life all on their own.
The shadows reached for Kaden's leg and slowly climbed up his shin, and up his thigh. "Misery, Pain. Let us wallow in this torment of everlasting depression together," a tiny voice said from the shadows.
Jaden's eyes turned pitch black, and he said as a teardrop rolled out of his right eye, "I love you, Emma..."
