Chapter 2 Danielle, You Hate Me

"Danielle Cullen! Do you like him so much that you even call out his name when having sex with me?"

The furious shout reverberated in Danielle's ears, and the searing pain in her private parts felt as if they had been ripped apart, causing Danielle to suddenly open her eyes!

The eyes of the man in front of her were full of anger as if he wanted to tear her up!

"Vernon..."

Danielle's eyes widened in disbelief and confusion, questioning why Vernon was here. Was she experiencing a hallucination because she was dying?

Vernon clearly saw the confusion in her eyes, so he tightened his grip on her neck.

She didn't even know who had had sex with her on the bed?

Then, when she had been having sex with him, had she been thinking about Wilbur all the time?

Vernon's bloodshot eyes stared at her. His hands clenched around her neck in anger, filling the room with fury.

Danielle gasped for air. "Vernon..."

Vernon truly wanted to choke this heartless woman, but upon seeing the tear stains on her face, his heart softened, and he released her.

He rolled over and rose from the bed.

With a cold expression, he began to dress himself.

At the same time, Danielle also sat up.

She felt pain throughout her body, particularly in her private parts. The familiar surroundings made her realize that she had been reborn.

She had returned to the night five years ago when Hattie had knocked her out and brought her to Wilbur's bed. Vernon had rushed in with his people and witnessed the scene. Enraged, he broke both of Wilbur's hands, dragged Danielle back to his villa, and forcefully slept with her.

After that night, her relationship with Vernon turned sour. She sought revenge through various means, and eventually, Vernon gave up and left the country in despair.

Then, Wilbur and Hattie drugged her and tormented her.

As thoughts of Wilbur and Hattie flooded her mind, Danielle felt a powerful wave of hatred consume her, causing her body to tremble violently once more. After putting on his clothes, Vernon turned to see Danielle seated on the bed, trembling with hatred.

Vernon's heart ached.

Did she despise him that much?

"Danielle, you hate me? Do you despise me for taking advantage of you while you were unconscious?"

Vernon's tone was cold. He approached the bed, tossing two certificates at Danielle before speaking in a threatening voice. "Your hatred towards me is pointless. You are my wife now, and you cannot be with Wilbur any longer. You better forget those foolish ideas and submit to being my wife, or I'll sever your lover's limbs and shatter your legs!"

He always spoke ruthlessly, threatening to break her legs, yet he had never actually done so. Recalling her previous life, Danielle felt sad and began to weep.

Vernon's heart softened as he saw the tears in her eyes, despite his previous coldness.

Was she crying again?

Had he truly been too harsh?

But this woman deserved it!

Unconsciously, Vernon wanted to wipe her tears away. However, remembering that she had called Wilbur's name in bed moments before, his expression turned cold again. "If you want Wilbur to live, hold back those tears!"

Danielle managed to stop crying, which made Vernon's face darken more.

However, Danielle thought of one thing.

In her past life, Vernon had imprisoned Wilbur and Hattie in a dungeon and subjected them to intense torture. They had been released only because she had begged for mercy.

This time, she wouldn't plead for mercy; instead, she would reclaim what she had suffered!

"Vernon, may I visit them in the dungeon?" she asked anxiously.

Was she so eager to see her adulterer?

Vernon clenched his teeth in anger and scoffed, "Fine, go and see them. Just make sure you don't shed any tears when you do."
