Chapter 10 The Car Crash (Part 2).

"Ariane Lucas car has been following us right from the resort should I stop incase he wants to talk to you" Ariane looked back for a moment at the car in question. Ken looked at her from the side of his eye waiting for her answer.

"No need in fact make sure he doesn't catch up. I don't want to talk" The ride became quiet again until they heard a loud collision it was a little dark but she could make out Lucas car crashed into a tree.

Ken quickly pulled over by the side of the road and rushed out to help him. Ariane initially thought to stay put but got down few minutes later when Ken didn't return.

"Hey did you need help. Is he okay" she told her self not to be bothered Lucas was probably fine but she couldn't help but worry a bit. From the distance she could make up the outline of their shape but was unable to see what was going on so she tried crossing over to see if they needed help.

Maybe it was because she was worried for Lucas or it was just plain carelessness she failed to notice the vehicle without headlights coming her way till it hit her.

2 months Later

Ariane opened her eyes slowly trying to get accustomed to the lights and white walls.

She looked around at the spacious room in which she was the only occupant. She sat up and stayed that way for a while trying to get the room to stop spinning.

Her eyes landed on the jar of water perched on the table in a bid to get a drink she removed her IV drip and stumbled towards it. After she made sure to drink enough water she began to wonder how she got there. The harder she tried to remember the more her head hurt so she stopped trying at all and instead limped slowly out of her room into the hospital corridor till she collapsed

An hour later a couple of people rushed into the room and the man in front quickly engulfed her in a hug.

Ariane was more than surprised but managed to pull him off. "I'm sorry who are you? Who are all these people?" Her query was directed to the doctor and she continued to look at everyone weird.

Lucas too looked to the doctor for explanations. "I'm sorry Mr. King this is what I wanted to talk to you about first before you talked to her. She seems to have no memory of some things..."
