Chapter 4 Revenge

On the 19th of April, five days after Katy's wedding got ruined, the news of David Slack launching his software application spread through the entire country.

It was the topic of discussion for everyone in the country.

As David was excited about celebrating his victory, Katy was annoyed by the news.

She wanted to show the world that, David was a thief and a big liar but didn't know how to do it.

After she got her wedding ruined, David appeared differently on television.

His type of clothes, foot wares, hairstyles, expressions, and even the way he walked changed.

He was a new person, a classy, bossy, and pompous guy.

Katy was nothing when compared to him. She was not the type of girl David would ever choose in terms of financial background.

No one would even believe her when she says David was her fiancé.

Even saying that alone would cause people to hurl insults at her let alone saying she is carrying his twin babies.

"I never knew the sweet caring guy I fell in love with was a demon," Katy said, irritated by David's appearance and his cold expression on the television.

The time for the launching would start at noon in one of the Luxurious hotels in East Hill.

The Launching was limited to a few numbers of people who were already famous for their wealth and high prestige. No meager person was invited to the launch.

"I am going to appear at this ceremony; I have to teach that guy the greatest lesson in his life.

After all he did, he has the gut to lie to the general public about my Software."

Katy prepared herself ready to face David at the ceremony.

At the hotel, only people who had the invitation card were allowed to enter.

The program premiered on Television and radio stations.

Everyone was thrilled and eluded anticipating the new technology David Slack the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Slack had created.

"He is a great son, his parents would be very proud of him."

"Yeah he is awesome, he has maintained his parent's company. He is not like the other guys who would spend their parent's money lavishly on girls till it gets finished." Katy overheard two people having this conversation.

Irritated by what they were saying, she nearly spit out the truth exposing the snares of David.

At the gates, Katy was forbidden to enter. Though her appearance was not that bad but it didn't fit that of an affluent woman.

"Young woman, can you please back off?"

Offended by the words of one of the guards she huffed in annoyance "What do you mean I should back off?"

You heard me, young lady, I don't want to keep repeating myself.

His statement pissed her off "Who do you think you are huh? You are just a guard so better treat everyone with respect"

The guard sneered "I am a guard and you are?"

Katy swiftly replied, "That is none of your business!!"

The guard laughed sarcastically "You aren't worthy to be hired as a janitor in my boss's Company.

You are even privileged I talked to you."

The statement shattered every piece of Katy's soul. She recalled how her mom left her dad due to his poor financial background and the promise she made to her dad about building for him a massive company.

Tears dropped but she wiped them aggressively.

"Is it so hard to hear the truth?" The guard continued his sarcastic talks.

Katy glared at him violently as if she was going to give him the beatings of his life.

"You are going to regret this, I promise you that!" she voiced heavily.

She had already exhausted all her energy as a result of her injured head and the babies she was carrying.

She was not going to engage in any activity that would lead her to have a miscarriage.

After all, she was not there to fight that provoking guy.

She was only there to convey the news about the babies to David and then expose him about his bully to the world.

While thinking about this, a very nice BMW 540 car appeared.

Several guards in expensive black suits swiftly surrounded the car.

One of them opened the door and another one carried a bag.

Everyone was fascinated by the scene anticipating the coming of the one who was protected by those guards.

"Young lady, move out of the way, my boss is coming!" the guard commanded but Katy played deaf.

"I am not going anywhere unless you let me go inside," Katy demanded.

He replied to Katy in a contemptuous tone "Who do you think you are kidding? Do you think we are here to throw a party for poor thing like you?"

Everyone watched Katy disdainfully and burst into laughter. She became the laughingstock of everyone.

Embarrassed by the moment Katy blurted "You will all regret this!"

The guard irritated by her statement repeated "Young lady, move out of the way"

Katy did not attempt to barge an inch even after hearing the threatening tone of the guard.

The guard was infuriated when the lady played adamantly.

He repeated his statement "I said back off!" But this time, he violently pushed Katy away causing her to lose balance and fall.

At the feet of the boss, she fell. Helpless on the ground, Katy raised her head to see the one on whose feet she has fallen and to her surprise, it was David Slack his ex-boyfriend.

David's eyes locked with hers but he looked at her with disgust.

Katy's jaw dropped seeing the cold expression of David.

She wasn't expecting that look from him at all. After all the pain and hurt he caused her, he showed no sign of regret or sympathy.

His looks were cold.

Annoyed by the scene and afraid of their boss, the guards rushed to kick her but she held David's leg tightly.

"Let go of me! let go of me! I have something important to tell him."
