Chapter 4 Joyful Punishment

As Violet's phone rang, she showed it to the housekeeper, "Look, I've told Uncle Morris I was not short of money at the Scott Family, but he insisted on giving me allowances, saying it was getting cold and that I should buy more clothes."

Violet touched Dollar softly as she approached the housekeeper.

Dollar suddenly lunged at Liam and opened his mouth wide to bite his neck.

Liam reacted in time by leaning back a little and, at the same time, throwing a punch on the dog's stomach.

"Dollar!" Violet ran over as Dollar flung, and at that moment, slammed into Liam's swinging fist.

With all the strength she could muster, she knocked him away.

The dollar turned the target to Hannah, who was beside Liam, and tackled her down.

"Get off her!" Liam's eyes blazed at sight, and he violently pushed Violet away, swinging his fist at Dollar's head again.

"Dollar, let go of Hannah." Violet tugged at Dollar's leash, but he seized the chance to jump away.

Liam's punch came down fiercely, and as Dollar suddenly dodged out of the way, his fist hit Hannah.

Liam hurried to hold back his strength, but it was too late. He hit hard on Hannah's face.

"Poof..." Hannah's face was smashed to the side, and she passed out, blood oozing out from the corner of her mouth.

Violet released Dollar and rushed towards Hannah, "Sister, how are you?"

The housekeeper finally reacted from shock, "Should we take Miss Morris to the hospital or call an ambulance?"

"It's me who hurt her, so let me take her to the hospital." Liam suppressed his anger, carried Hannah up, and strode towards the car at the side.

"I'll go with you!" Violet followed them hastily.

Liam gritted his teeth before he said softly, "It's too late. You'd better go back first. Be careful with Dollar. Otherwise, it will be problematic if he hurts Mr. Scott."

"I'm sorry, Dollar never harms anyone. He's just playing with you."

Liam, "..." So it was all his fault to strike Hannah accidentally?

"Mrs. Scott, you need to look after Mr. Scott," said the housekeeper lightly.

Liam put Hannah carefully in the back seat, smiled politely at the housekeeper and Violet before driving off.

Violet saw the car leaving, revealing a triumphant, silent smile.

"Liam is really an expert in hiding his emotions. He could curb his anger even though it was almost intolerable."

The butler standing behind Violet noticed her gaze and frowned. "Looks like she has accepted her fate. Is she worried about Liam or her sister?"

Only when the car turned at the corner and pulled out onto the main road did Violet withdraw her gaze and smile and turn her head with a sad face.

Stepping over to Dollar, she grabbed him by the ear and said viciously, "I told you not to jump on people. Now you see the consequence?"

After her words, she glanced at the housekeeper and thought to herself, "I have shown my loyalty to Julian and expressed my lack of money in a roundabout way. Hopefully, he should understand me."

The two of them went back to the house, one after the other, and stood under a small two-story building closest to the back door.

"Mrs. Scott, you have just entered the family, and there are some rules you may not know, so let me explain them to you," said the butler abruptly.

"Yes, go ahead."

"According to the rules set by the Scott Family's ancestors, once its young generation reaches adulthood, the family will no longer afford them any expense, and all the money Mr. Scott earned in his early years has been spent on his medical care..."

The butler said as he took out his phone and opened a file, "His left savings are only enough to pay off his medical bills for another three months."

"So what you're saying is..." Violet's heart convulsed, and she hoped that the truth was not what she thought.
