Chapter 2 Mr. Scott

"So, how old am I now? Have I been married to Julian Scott, Liam's invalid uncle?"

Violet slowly turned and looked around. Her expression went gloomy when she saw a wheelchair, "Isn't this Julian's room?"

"How long have we got married? Did I do anything to him?"

Violet ran over to the bed with some anticipation and apprehension.

Julian was lying quietly on it.

His face, as well as his clothes, was messed with make-up, which all was her work...

At the sight of Violet, Julian's expression turned murderous and disgusted. The next second, his eyes were closed as if one more glance at her would stain them.

"I'm in big trouble! I piss off my future reliance."

Mr. Scott, before the car accident, was a charismatic type who was able to capture one's heart with one glance.

So he always despised her, a girl adopted by the Morris Family, and taunted her harshly.

Violet dismissed him as a boy who lacked masculinity.

The phone on the dresser was still ringing, and Violet picked it up and looked at it.

She cooled down quickly and tapped on the phone.

"Violet, why aren't you here yet? It'll be too late if we don't get going."

Another gentle voice came through the receiver, "Violet, my sister. I'll see you off too. We're waiting for you at the back door."

Only then did Violet see her suitcase and remember that tonight was the night she was to leave.

"So, let's start with revenge tonight."

Violet tugged coldly at the corner of her mouth in the mirror and said softly, "Well, I just need another fifteen minutes."
