Chapter 4 I'll Kill You Now!

"Winnie, Winnie, don't scare me!" Roy cried in a hoarse voice. Winnie replied to him with even louder wails.

Suddenly, he left Winnie and rushed at Miley with rage. Gripping her collar, he snarled savagely, "Why are you so merciless? Why did you hurt Winnie? Do you know how kind she is? For you, she is willing to have an abortion and begs me not to break up with you!"

"Really?" With a pale face, Miley sneered, "Then she doesn't need to go to the hospital. This is a good chance for her to miscarry and can save her from the bad reputation of premarital pregnancy."

"You..." Roy wanted to say something, but just then, Winnie shouted, "Roy, our baby... Drive me to the hospital now!"

"Don't you plan to have an abortion? Why bother to go to the hospital?" Miley ridiculed.

Roy glared at her. "Miley, you're the most cold-blooded woman I've ever seen!"

Then, he hurried back to Winnie's side and carried her in his arms. Before he left, he looked at Miley and said, "I have no time to waste on you now. But Miley, if Winnie or the baby has an accident, I swear I'll let you pay the price!"

After saying that, the man rushed out of the office with Winnie, regardless of so many curious eyes outside. Miley followed them out and had a glance at the entire office.

The employees lowered their heads and stopped talking immediately, but Miley knew they were all laughing at her. Her man not only abandoned her but also took another woman to his office to humiliate her.

But now, she didn't have time to guess what her employees were thinking about. She had to go to the hospital to see whether the baby had ended its wrongful life.

As she drove her Volkswagen CC, she didn't know how to describe her feelings. Facing the betrayal, she was more sad than angry. One of them was her best friend she had known for years, and the other was the man she loved. But when they cheated on her, they didn't even show a trace of guilt. It was a shock to know they had been together for two years, a period when they and she helped and supported each other like a family. Now, Winnie was pregnant, but they still didn't feel shameful at all. Roy preempted to ask for a divorce, and Winnie acted just like an Oscar winner.

At this moment, Miley felt that she was very wicked – she hoped the baby would die and Winnie would suffer sterility. How could she wish this shameless couple, who had cheated on her for two years, to have a happy life?

In the hospital, she soon found Roy who was sitting outside an operating room and holding his head with both hands.

"How is it? Has the baby died?"

Her sarcastic words irritated him at once. He suddenly jumped up like a beast whose bottom was pricked by a needle. "Miley, why are you so vicious? Why can't you wish us well?"

"Yes, I can't wish you well! I hope Winnie will die, too! I want both of them to be punished!"

"You..." Furious, Roy swung his palm toward her face.

Knowing that he would do so, Miley leaned away from him to duck the slap. Driven crazier, he pounced over to grasp her collar and pressed her tightly against the wall.

"I warn you, if Winnie and the baby have any accident, I... I'll kill you!"

"Kill me? You love her that much? You're willing to kill people because of her?"

Her neck squeezed by the collar, Miley looked as white as a sheet, but her mouth twisted in a contemptuous sneer. Roy felt that. In her eyes, he was just like a clown that she despised deeply.

"Miley, I'll kill you now!"

As he roared, he squeezed her neck violently with both hands to stop her from breathing. Within three seconds, her eyes bulged. If things went on like this, she would really die of suffocation...

But she was Miley Smith who wouldn't let this man strangle her so easily. She must teach him a lesson before she died.

Therefore, she opened her mouth wide and struggled for a deep breath. Then, she lifted her foot, which she had used to kick Winnie's belly, and aimed at his crotch.

"Ah..." As he wailed, a voice came from the stairwell, "Mrs. Shawn?"

With a hand on her neck, Miley panted and looked at the stairwell...

Suddenly, she was stupefied. The money boy? Why was he here? Why was it so dramatic? Why did she meet him again within 24 hours? Why was he wearing a lab coat? Was he a doctor who worked part-time as a money boy at night?
