Chapter 7 Seven

The company was busy with the new product throughout the week, Aiden didn't have time to see Emily and the week went by without the two of them seeing each other

Although Emily doesn't want to see him yet just like she wanted she was given a part in the work going on and she has to work her butt out the whole week

It was hard for her going to college and coming back to do a load of work at the office made her always exhausted when she got home later in the day and she kind of regret asking Aiden to make her work just like others

She didn't really think much of it before but realisation begin to down on her that he's really a busy man these past days she has been finding out more about him and she has started doubting if she's really worthy to like someone of his calibre

maybe that's one of the reasons why he can't date her she thought if when she saw him in the office she tried to avoid, seeing him with people who she dare not stand beside during the launching of the new appliances made her lost her confidence

It's a whole week she hasn't talk to him she stayed home and decide to spend her Sunday studying since she hasn't done much reading during the week, Louis is helping out Steve in the restaurants

Ever since what happened between her and Steve there's been this awkwardness between them she felt like he betrayed him or something she has not gone to help in the restaurant like she use to and since she always come late from work it an easy excuse for her not to help in the restaurant

She studied for about four hours and decide to have a short nap before she continue studying, she felt something on her face but didn't open her eyes she brush it from with her hands and continue her sleep

She felt the same thing again and opened her eyes upset at whatsoever is disturbing her sleep, Aiden sat beside her and stare at her she look confused and surprise

"Is this a dream or something?" she tried standing she look at the person in front of her and pinch his cheek Aiden left out a little yell and pull her hands off his face

"That's hurt!"

Emily sprang up startled, "how on earth did you get in my room?" she said up down on her feet

"Your brother brought me here" he said pointing to Louis who was standing at the door

"Wow sis you never told me you know the richest man in town, can't believe you befriend such riches"

"You brought him into my room? What were you thinking?"

"Well he gave me money and I was with him so..." he shrugged and left the two alone in the room

"Why are you here?" she asked him as she packed her books which was scattered on her bed

"Let's go out together" he said standing up from the bed

"What makes you think I will want to go out with you?"

"Please, I want to rectify my mistake" he pleaded

"Okay let's go" she said and made for the door

"Won't you change to something else?"

She ignore him and walk he followed her and got outside there was a different car, different from the one he always drive

"You drove this kind of expensive car here?" she asked a little bit shock

The car is so expensive she has only seen it on magazines which Louis reads since he love cars he has many pictures and article about them, no wonder he allowed Aiden into their house

"I decide to drive this since this is our first official date" he said and open the door of the car for her

"What do you mean by our first official date?" she asked not going in

"maybe not now but later, just hop in" she entered reluctantly and they set off

It took them thirty minutes to get to their destination hey stopped at a restaurants, Aiden wanted to get down but Emily draw him back

"What are we doing here?" she said almost in a whisper

"Is something wrong? You don't like it here?"

"You brought me to an expensive restaurant without being properly dressed and you ask what's wrong"

"That's why I told you to put on something else, but don't worry I already book the whole place" he said and got out of the car

But Emily refuse to get down he went over to her side and force her to come down but she still refuse to move

Not caring about the stares he might create he lift her up her feet and carry her in a bridal style inside the restaurant

Emily let him carry her and bury her face in his chest as they enter they got to the table prepared or them about six servers stood not too far from their table waiting to serve them Emily look around there was really nobody in the restaurant with them

"You really rent the whole place?"

"Yes for seven hours" he answered taking the menu list and gave it to her

"So you usually rent place like this or this is the first time?"

"I usually not like disturbance when eating out so I rent the whole place when I want to eat at any restaurant" he said like it was not a big deal which got Emily surprise

"But you never do that when we eat together?" she said going through the menu

"I do it just that you didn't notice" she stare at him confused

"I rent the seats near us so the others would seat inches away from us" he explained and Emily nodded her head like she was remembering something

"So that's why you didn't order anything the first time we were together at the restaurant" she said and he affirm her words

"Alyssa never liked...." He stop his words as he recollect Jack's words "don't talk about Alyssa at your date with her" he quickly close his mouth and divert the discussion

"What will you like to order?"

"Well, all the food here look expensive am not sure what I should order" she said checking the menu once again

"Feel free to order anything you want" he signal to the waiters standing to come over

"I want scotch fillet with mash and rosemary butter" he look at Emily and she doesn't seems to know what to order

"You can give her the same thing" he said and the servers left, minutes later their food was served and they dig in and talk a little as they eat

"Go out with me" Aiden said out suddenly she look at him confused

"I'm already out with you"

"I mean let's date, officially" Emily's mouth hang open in shock, she stare for a second before she realize herself and close her mouth

"Be my girlfriend Emily" he said holding her hands across the table

she was still silent too shock to say anything she coughed nervously and release her hands from his grip "is this some kind of joke or acting?"

He chuckles "what makes you think am joking or acting?"

"Well last time you said you don't want to be in a relationship...."

"I take back whatever I say last time I say that because of my bad experience in my past relationship but I realise I can't afford to lose you"

"So you need me now and want to go out with me?" she said sarcastically

"I like you" he blurt out

Emily look up at him and his eyes capture hers she quickly look down suddenly feeling shy

She felt the butterflies in her stomach dancing she look flustered as she stare at her plate she never thought she will ever feel this way with him maybe because he suddenly dropped his confession on her

"Are you okay?" he asked as he tried to get a gaze of her face but she look down not giving him a chance

"Never knew you have this side of you have never seen you looking nervous before" he said more like a mockery

They continue eating with Emily still not looking up they finish eating and decide to leave

"do you want me to carry you to the car?" he asked but she shook her head briskly

Aiden laugh at her action and he followed her as she walk out the enter the car and he drove to her house

He parked his car not too far from Steve's restaurant even though Emily protested against the idea she bid him goodbye but he lock the door blocking her exit she look back at him wondering why he lock the doors

"You finally look at me in the face" he said and Emily stare down again, lift her chin up forcing her to meet with his eyes

"You didn't answer my question back then"

"That's because it's pretty obvious what my answer is"

"I don't think I know what your answer is unless you tell me yourself" he said

"Oh really, then my answer is no" she said with a scoff

She turn to back him but he pull back and kissed her it was unexpected but she reciprocate he broke the kiss and stare at her

"is your answer is no?" he asked and she stayed silent he kissed her again this time it lasted for sometimes "still no" Emily shake her head "it's a yes"

"Yes what?"

She laugh a little before she replied "yes I will be your girlfriend" she said as they lock lips together again
