Chapter 8 FIRST MEETING PART TWO

Shin Alexandra continued taking the red-carpet path that is prepared by the student council and the administration of the university and in just a few more steps she was already able to see the university-covered court where the ball is going to be held. Well, although the ball is going to be held in the covered court it was also designed to fit the theme of the event, in fact, to Shin's eyes, the covered court no longer looks like a covered court.

She admits that there are a lot of facilities that she does not know to exist in the university, she is even completely oblivious to what her building is called she only remembers how to get there and also what her room is in every subject that she is taking is, however, she knows what the covered court of the university looks like because it is one of the places that she usually goes to kill some time. Well, although it is a covered court there are only a few people who go there since it is only used for special events, there are some people who go to the covered court to practice and train for the sport they specialize in, it also gets a little noisy around the area but that does not matter to Shin Alexandra because all that matters to her is that she can sit and take a nap without getting disturbed in an air-conditioned place.

Well, she is not being disturbed because she has her spot in the covered courts where no one can see her, the noise does not bother her too because she is wearing her wireless headphones and yes, the whole covered court is airconditioned – that is already a given because the tuition fee of the university she is studying at is no joke.

It is fitting to say that the university that she is studying at is a university for the rich, fortunately, some students didn't come from prominent backgrounds or students that are not born with a silver spoon in their mouths but were able to enter the university because of their intelligence. There is a certain level of intelligence that they should reach to be given the scholarship to be able to study at the university that she is studying at for free and that is determined through a scholarship examination.

Unlike in other prestigious universities, students who are born with a silver spoon in their mouths treat the scholars badly however it is different here in this university because students are a lot more decent enough to know their limits and they do not treat the scholars badly because they know to themselves that they may have the prestigious background – the money and the fame but the thing is that they lack with the brains and without brains they will most likely not to succeed – and their stupidity will get them only disappointment from their parents and not recognition.

"Do you know who is that woman?"

"Who?"

"That one – the one who is walking to the entrance?"

"The one who is wearing that sexy black dress?"

"Yeah, do you know who she is?"

"No, I do not know who she is. I think that this is the first time that I have also seen her"

Those are the things that she has heard from the individuals that she passed by and Shin immediately knew that it was her who is being referred to by those individuals that she heard – well, those are not the only ones that she heard, other ones are talking about her, well she is the only one that is wearing a sexy black dress.

Well, she admits that although she does not want to catch the attention of the public there is also nothing that she could do because she is wearing a dress that is very eye-catching in the first place. It is a long backless gown, and the back lessness of it reaches her lower back making her whole back fully exposed other than that, it also has a medium slit on her right leg which makes half of her legs up until her lower thighs exposed. The heels she is wearing are also something that shouldn't be joked about because it is a black 4 inches heels that have sparkling gems on them – specifically, those gems are diamonds and of course, anyone with a sharp eye would immediately notice their authenticity.

In short, she does look expensive when in fact ever since she started her education at the said university, she didn't wear anything expensive – or rather the things that she used are brands that are commonly used by an average student, a student who is born with a silver spoon on her mouth but is not that rich compared to the other ones. The clothes that she wore are either Celine or Kier – brands that are well-known by a lot of people and are considered to be top-tier brands as well but not as top-tier as Valencia or Cher.

She does have clothes from those brands as well but the thing is when she is going to school, she'd rather wear the common clothes that a rich lady would wear so that she wouldn't attract that much attention that is wearing top-tier clothes because she already foresaw that if she does wear those brands then she will be deemed as someone who is on a higher class than the rest of them and that she will be equaled to those kings and queens of the university.

Again, she'd rather just be the that mediocre lady that does not give a damn about anything else – again the only thing that she wants is to graduate and be able to leave this country again.

"I am happy to see that you finally decided to attend one of the university's events," someone said behind her and she can recognize where that voice came from. Although she said that she wants to keep a low profile and that she is maintaining that mysterious image that doesn't care about anything else that does not mean that she is not acquainted with someone. Honestly, she is not planning to be acquainted with anyone in the university because she thinks that it is completely unnecessary, however, for some reason, she was able to have a conversation with one person and the thing is the person is not a student but rather a professor in the university – to be specific she is the headmistress of the university.

A headmistress is not only one who governs the school but also the owner of it and that is also the reason why she can use the covered court even if she does not have a trainee pass or whatever. The headmistress somewhat gave an order to just let her in into whatever facility that she likes to stay in – well, obviously it is not a good thing because it will seem like she is using her connections however the thing is she didn't ask for the headmistress to do such a thing, it is her initiative to do such a thing.

And Shin also realized right now that the reason why suddenly it was announced that all senior students are required to attend the university acquaintance ball or else, they are going to have a hard time in being able to secure that graduation spot is because she wants to see her attend such an event because again, this is the first time that she is to attend a university event.

"It's nice to see you looking good Shin Alexandra"

"You are planning to do everything in your power just to see me attend your event huh?"

"Well, you can put it that way but the thing is it is also for you to be able to interact with the people around you. You don't even know anyone aside from me when in fact I am your headmistress"

"Tch whatever you say. I am here but that does not mean that I am going to enjoy the night"

Shin Alexandra cannot help but let out a scoff because of the small conversation that she had with the headmistress. She didn't even turn around to look at her in the first place which is also a good thing because she can continue walking towards the entrance of the covered court. Well, she does not want to stay there for a long time and converse with the headmistress because in the first place it is never a good thing for them to see the student body talking – it will surely create a nice rumor, and the student body will surely talk about it for quite some time and that will surely be annoying for her because attention will be focused on her and she doesn't want that to happen.

And of course, she is trying her best to be a goody-shoes individual in the university and she doesn't want to create a huge ruckus.
