Chapter 5 In Love with the Mystery Kisser

I was so lost in my work and I didn't reply to him. After I finished, I called Eden back but he wasn't picking up the call. I am getting tense now. The day couldn't be more frustrating.

I had my breakfast and I was calling him again and again. He was not answering my phone. I got made.

"Fine, I am not gonna call you ever."

I went back to my room and started doing my work. I wanted to distract myself. Emily got up by that time and entered my room. She was my best friend. She knew something had happened.

As she sat next to me, I closed my eyes in frustration.

"Is this your Asshole Boss Again???"

"Not only him, but Eden is driving me nuts. I can't take this anymore."

"What happened to your boss??? What got into him again???"

I told her everything.

"I wish I could kill this asshole. I hate him."

"Me too."

Okay, forget him. Tell me about Eden. What did he do??? She started smiling when I showed her his message.

"You think it's funny. Come on."

"I am just laughing because it's the first day of life in this relationship and you guys have already started fighting like a couple."

"Shut up. That is cute. I am mad at him. How childish is this? I mean why didn't he understand I might be busy somewhere? "

"Don't worry he will call back."

She looked at my face.

"Don't be sad. He waited for you for a year. Do you think he would give up on you just because you didn't pick up his call??? He must be teasing you. Come on cheer up. Let's go shopping."

"I don't want to."

"I didn't ask babe. Get ready."

We went out shopping and, as usual, I was happy and normal again. We had lunch and, as usual, we went to watch a movie. Our holidays used to have this and we had fun together. It was our rule that we wouldn't talk about our work or our past on our day out. The day was going smoothly. We watched the movie and came out when I saw the chauffeur from last night at the gate.

I looked at Emily.

"That's surprising. Now, you should go."

"No, he didn't pick up my call."

"Come on. Go now."

She forced me, and before leaving, he took me to the restroom. I wore the nearby dress I had just bought and after getting ready I went out.

He drove me outside the city. I wondered where he was taking me. The car stopped at a resort and I looked around. As usual, there was nobody.

I went inside and lights were coming from a room. I entered and looked around but before I saw him, I felt someone grab me from behind and pull me closer.

I rested my head on his back and he held my hand.

"Did you miss me???"

"Why didn't you pick up my call???"

"Did you miss me???"

"What was that weird text??? You knew I must be busy somewhere. Still, you were behaving like a child."

"Did you miss me???"

My questions were changing but he was still asking the same question.

I was quiet and he kissed my neck and started sensations in my whole body. I closed my eyes again and he hugged me tightly from behind again.

"Did you miss me???"

"Do you care??? "

"Trust me, babe. That's all I care about. Your feelings for me."

"Yeah, a little bit."

"Just a little bit."

He kissed my neck again. My heart was beating fast and fast.

"Maybe a bit more."

"Tell me what you think about us???"

"You aren't that stupid. Do you want me to say it???"

"Yeah, I want to hear this."

"Ok fine. I am ready to give you a chance, but promise me that you will never break my heart."

"I will never."

I didn't know how he did that, but the lights turned off all of a sudden and he turned me around and kissed my lips. He was kissing me so passionately and he pulled me into his embrace.

"I love you and I promise I will never leave you. "

I hugged him back. I don't know but he was somehow so familiar with me. I couldn't see his face, and neither did he, but he was taller than me. Had a little beard and a sharp nose.

I felt he had a strong body and muscles.

"So are you going to show me your face now?"

"Not until you love me as much as I love you."

"How would you know that???"

"Trust me I would."

After that, there was just enough light in the resort to see stuff. I couldn't see his face.

He held my hand and we went out. The dining table was so well decorated and he sat next to me. I could only see the food but not his face.

We had our dinner and I wondered how he was doing all that. After dinner, he took me out for a walk. There weren't any stars or anything. The weather was getting cold and he was holding me in his embrace.

Music started and we started dancing. We were silent and he was holding my hand. We danced for some time and then he kissed my forehead.

It's time. I have to go. I thought.

"How did you like it???"

"I love it."

"Do you want to hang out with me again???"

"I might get free next weekend before that. There is no chance."

"Okay, then next weekend it is. But I won't let you go then. You have to spend the weekend with me."

"And what exactly would we do??? We don't even talk much."

"I know everything about you, sweetheart, and trust me, I don't wanna know anything else. You are with me and that's enough for me."

"Oh really. So are we gonna stay quiet???"

He pulled me closer and I was feeling his heartbeat now.

"If you want, I can arrange for something special. I mean besides talking or dancing. I have some other romantic offers too."

"Don't forget I still have that gun with me."

He chuckled and that was the first time I felt like he was smiling.

"Well, I am ready to die. If you are gonna shoot me I have no problem."

"Shut up. I am getting late. Emily is alone and she would get afraid."

"What about me??? I am afraid too."

"Well, I can't do much about that."

After that, I left for my apartment. I have dropped you at my place again. I don't know why he was treating me like I was so precious. I never valued myself like that.

Because of him, I started loving myself. I was falling in love again and, after a long time, I was finally forgetting my tormenting past. But I didn't know my destiny was about to change in a few weeks and this love would change me as a person forever.
