What happens when you assume something, you lose it, people will not always be by your side, it is a misconception that makes us act selfishly, that someone loves you, gives all of himself, gives his heart without reservation does not give you the right with every word, and action to make him miserable, the right of ownership, to feel that every part belongs to you and thus the right to destroy it, being mean and goddess will only have one outcome, lose what you love, and then what will you do? endure, and close your eyes to reality, so as not to see how everything that you thought would be et
ernal, is destroyed.
CHAPTER V: PARALLEL:
'And you told him you didn't need him, then your reality began to destroy itself.' EDHEN BLAQUE.
He walks from one side to the other as if he was a fucking caged animal, a feline, a lion, a very furious one, throwing paws ready to hurt and tear apart whoever got in front of him, growling showing teeth and looking fucking lethal, with that attack pose and those glowing eyes that say you will go very, very bad, that's how Leonel was, biting his lips, upset and pulling his hair as if he was about to lose his mind.
He needed, he fucking needed to see Alexandre, talk to him or some quick shit because there was no way he could go on like this, he was barely sleeping and his countenance could be bought only with that of a sick person, Leonel was sure that by this minute any critical patient of the worst hospital in the country was better off than him, with those dark circles under his eyes, those parched lips and those fucking crises that looked like they could make him bald at any moment, and is that fuck!, It was all his fault, it was Alexandre's fault, couldn't he understand it, how that damn midget became so mean and selfish, and even more with him, who had put up with his damned presence and carried with heaviness what that best friend badge meant, now he dared to leave him aside, what the fuck?.
"Are you going to tell me something?" the voice of Lucius made him stop before he blinked slowly as if just realizing his presence, Lucius looked at his wrist watch with an annoyed face before looking him in the eyes "I've been sitting here for three hours watching you walk back and forth, my fucking ass hurts, so talk or I'm leaving" Leonel looked like he wanted to say something, however he closed his mouth and pursed his lips, Lucius knew the exact moment when all hell broke loose in him.
Because Leonel was just throwing bursts of fire, of bullets at everyone in front of him, furious with every person as if they all wanted to hurt him, as if they really had.
Lucius was tired, damn it, Dean would cut his fucking balls off if he found out he was at Leonel's, he'd kill him for sure, and he couldn't blame him but it wasn't an option and Lucius was between the fact that Leonel was his best friend and Dean is the guy who literally has him eating out of his hand.
"Are you even mad at me?" asked Leonel with eyes wide as deer in the headlights and the flaps of his nose "hat is wrong with all of you?. This is Alexandre's damn fault, not mine" he pointed at him with an accusing look and orbs full of anger "He's the one who should be here begging me, not me writing and texting him like an idiot."
"Do you really think that?" the question came out automatic, even before he even thought about it, Lucius had his brow furrowed and his jaw clenched, he was annoyed and disgusted, and Leonel as deep in his own world as he was didn't notice.
"Do you know how hard it's been for me?. To put up with someone like that, so clingy and needy, damn it Lucius, I'm no faggot and I still put up with it."
Lucius licked his lips and clenched his hands into a fist, taking a deep breath and telling himself that he should calm down because otherwise he would end a friendship of years and having his ass stopped by a demon right now didn't matter to him, very much so, because Leonel was being a complete idiot, who claimed to love Alexandre, but was mistreating, insulting and degrading him, Leonel cataloged himself as a man who supposedly had no problem with the LGBTQ+ community but was throwing expletives against them as if they were a normal part of the vocabulary.
"I understand that he never forced you" she said looking him in the eyes, Leonel bared his teeth and growled like an animal.
"Of course not" he laughed and denied amused "He didn't force me but he also didn't stop asking every five minutes: do you love me Leonel?. What did you want me to do?" he shouted angry, exasperated and also sad, he had sacrificed himself, because he loved Alexandre, because he was his damn it, he was a good friend who did everything he could to make him happy, to have him by his side, and now the son of a bitch was just hiding in his damn house and pretending he didn't exist?.
The fuck he didn't.
"That gave you the right to play with him?" Leonel's eyes widened and at Lucius' question he advanced towards him and grabbed him by the shirt.
"I never did!" the taller one pushed him away shoving him dryly, Leonel staggered and looked at him almost hurt, Lucius didn't care, in fact he stood up and looked at him as if the younger one was nothing, just a disgusting thing, easy to destroy and crush like a cockroach, Leonel for a moment felt tiny.
"Explain this to me" he sighed "Because I don't understand you" he ran his hand over his face in exasperation "You say it was annoying and that you suffered, that Alexandre was like a damn leech who wanted to leave you without blood "he repeated in a strained voice "You're getting married soon to Rose" he shrugged "Shouldn't you be happy that he walked away?" he asked with a smile that was far from friendly "Just forget it and go on with your damn life!."
Leonel looked at him and blinked, continue his life, well it wasn't like he was going to cancel his plans, he would get married and have a nice family, that wasn't in discussion and yet it didn't feel right to continue in such conditions with Alexandre, the red-haired man even if he doesn't accept it, deep down he knows he needs him, he felt a horrible pressure in his chest and for a second he had trouble breathing, the blond couldn't leave him, they had a promise.
Lucius looked at him as if he was missing a screw.
"Bullshit" he said in a trembling voice "He can't do that" he denied hard, he growled and seemed out of it again "Just walk away and throw away our promise, throw me away like I'm worthless?" he growled.
"And according to you why?" he inquired "He can do whatever he wants, he's not a damn object."
"Because he's mine, fucking mine my best friend, my Alexandre, and it'll freeze fucking hell before I throw myself aside!" this time it was Lucius who's eyes widened as he watched the black haired man walk around the room like a madman looking for something, his jacket, taking it and walking towards the door.
"You're being selfish!" he said, Leonel stopped and turned to see him with a smile on his face.
"No Lucius" he denied "I'm just fighting for what belongs to me. Tell Rose I'm out I'll be back in a bit."
Lucius was alarmed.
"Wait. Where are you going?"
"To look for Alexandre" he replied "That ungrateful bastard is going to hear me."
Leonel would do it, he would put Alexandre in his place, he could not leave him, he could not. So he took to the streets of London driving like crazy trying to get there as soon as possible, climbing the stairs of the blond's building as if he was being chased only to find Ellian at the door closing it with a key. This one was wearing a plastic bag, a grey tracksuit with a white t-shirt and a black spotted sweater with a pair of slippers.
Ellian felt the footsteps and looked up looking to the side, finding Leonel, a shitty Leonel, he removed the key from the lock and put it in his pocket before turning and facing him.
"What are you doing here?" he asked with a serious face, the red-haired man squared his shoulders and advanced towards him decisively, Ellian at no time daunted and challenged him with his gaze "I asked you a question."
"Where is Alexandre?" he asked looking him up and down, before he started knocking loudly on the door shouting the blond's name, Ellian took a deep breath.
"He's not here" Leonel stopped in his tracks "And before you ask, I don't know where he went" he took two steps closer, both of them staying close enough "But you don't know how much it makes me happy to see you like this, so desperate and shitty."
"Shut up" he whispered, Ellian smiled.
"Mark my words Leonel, this is going to be the beginning of your misfortune" he walked away without wiping the smile from his beautiful face "And the best of all, is that you alone opened the gates of hell."
