Chapter 5 The Ex

Mia wanted to get the bill since they were celebrating Sara's engagement. The server then told them, they didn't have a bill because someone else had paid it. They giggled and said Thank you and looked around with curiosity.

Sara talked Mia into having one more drink each and then Mia did pay that bill and tipped generously!

After a moment, Sara noticed a man that sent a gentle wave towards her. She looked down to avoid eye contact as she notice it was Mia's ex.

Mia noticed immediately that Sara was avoiding someone's gaze. As soon as she went to turn around and look Sara grabbed her arm and asked if she was ready to leave. Mia was confused she hadn't even finished her drink yet.

Just then Nate walked up to their table. He was tall with broad shoulders and still had hair that was thick, dark and glistened under the lights. His brown eyes looked like a shade of caramel. And his smile was Gorgeous.

Mia was caught of guard. Speechless for a moment she looked the handsome man up and down. Nate then winked at her. He knew he looked good. What would she say to him?
