Chapter 4 Maid of Honor

Mia was so happy for her sister and she made Sara well aware of how she felt! Mia smiled and praised her for everything she had going on and plans that she had for the future.

Sara tilted her head, her blue eyes bore into her sister and her wavy blonde hair fell on the table. "When are you planning on being in a relationship?" Mia almost choked so hard on her drink she nearly spit it out, but her green eyes narrowed as she swallowed. Mia laughed tucking her light brown hair behind her ear. and shrugged her shoulders saying "When I find the right one sis. I know I'm older but I wanted to be settled with myself before committing to someone."

Sara sighed and said she understood. A big grin crept on Sara's face. She knitted her fingers together and batted her eyelashes. Suddenly she said "Okay. I can't wait any more. The real reason I wanted you to return home this weekend." She paused and grabbed her purse. Mia asked her what she was doing and she responded with hold on.

A beautiful velvet blue box was in her hand and she reaches for Mia's hand and asked her "Will you please be my maid of honor?" Mia was almost in tears and obviously said "Yes! Of course. "

The sisters have always been sort of close growing up. Sara handed Mia the box to open. Mia's eyes went wide as she saw a stunning white gold bracelet with emeralds greener then her eyes and a cute M in the middle for her initial.

She got up and hugged Sara and said Thank you many times. She was happy and only felt that they should be together more often. After all she missed her little sister alot and also missed living so close to all of her family.
