Chapter 3 Drinks with the Sister

Saturday evening was always lively downtown in Morrison. Sara drove them to nearest parking lot so they didn't have a far walk to the bar. Upon arriving Mia noticed a long line and asked Sara if she wanted to go to another restaurant. Sara said "Nonsense!" As she approached the door the two doormen greeted her and opened the door to let her in.

Mia smiled at her sister in shock and Sara said "I just started making media accounts for local businesses and if they are more successful after the first 4 weeks, then each business agreed to pay me two thousand a month to continue with online accounts." Mia asked "Is this restaurant one of them? When did you start this? Why didn't you tell me?"

Sara laughed and followed the host to their table. It was a high top with two stools right on the other side of the bar. There were other many tall tables around the bar, most of which were filled. Both ladies got situated in their seats when Sara said "I wanted to be successful for about 6 months to a year since starting a business on my own. Once I know it's going to be something of a career for me, then I'll announce it to everyone." Mia replied "That's great and I'm so proud of you!" They ordered drinks and talked more. "Plus, I have a very supportive fiance who loves that I'm my own boss so we can spend more time together. Caiden was just saying, as a Lawyer he was going to take less clients on so it can be more personal and he wants to start landscaping business on the side so he can do something he's more passionate about it the summer months."
