Chapter 6 Hiro, The Beloved Grandson

They can already see the sunrise but the rehearsals for NO Border's concert is not yet over. The staff and crew are still having a meeting and they are discussing every details of their upcoming concert.

"We have to give our fans a concert that they will never forget. We need to have an interaction with them, and at the same time, give them wonderful memories that they won't be able to forget for the rest of their lives." Hiro, the group's leader, started relaying his vision for the live concert.

"I couldn't agree more. Just think about this... They bought your tickets because they want to sing and dance with you in one space. So that's why we have to give them something that they can cherish for a very long time." their concert director nodded in return.

The other members nodded in agreement. Each members were asked for their own individual concepts, as they also tried to combine them together and see if their ideas can help improve their concert.

Hiro was about to add more of his ideas but he wasn't able to do so because the phone inside his pockets suddenly rang. He checked the caller screen and he suddenly got anxious when he saw that it was someone from the Nursing Home.

He quickly whispered at their Manager Adam, to let him know what is going on.

"Sorry, Adam. I just need to take this call from the Nursing Home." he informed him.

Adam nodded in return, as he fully understands Hiro's situation.

"Go ahead, man. I'll just make an excuse." he stated.

"Thanks." Hiro thanked his Manager and friend, then afterwards, he immediately went outside the rehearsal room to answer the call.

"Hello, Nurse Feliza?" Hiro breathlessly answers the call.

"Hiro, I apologize for calling you this early, but I'm calling to let you know that your grandmother went outside the facilities again. But thank goodness, she didn't go far and Cherish was able to find her at a nearby Botanical Garden. It's such a relief that she didn't go far this time..." the Nursing Homes' Chief Nurse informs him of what happened.

"Is my grandma alright, Nurse Feliza?" asked Hiro, as soon as he regains his composure.

"You don't have to worry anymore. I can assure you that your grandmother is alright, and she is in her room taking a good rest." Nurse Feliza reassures him from the other line.

"Thank you for taking care of my Grandma. I'll be there today to visit her." said Hiro.

"Alright. We'll see you later." Nurse Feliza responded.

"Yes, I will. Thank you."

After the call, Hiro heaved a sigh of relief after knowing that his grandma is safe. All he needs to do is to finish the rehearsals, and go straight to Himawari Nursing Home...

Few moments quickly passes by.

Hiro is quickly walking his way inside the Himawari Nursing Home's hallway. He is walking straight towards Grandma Bien's private room.

He took a deep calming breath first, then afterwards, he enters the room. He immediately saw Nurse Feliza who is standing on his grandmother's bedside.

"Hiro, you don't have to worry anymore. Your grandma is now safe, and she's resting." the Chief Nurse quickly informs him.

"Where was she found and who found her again?" Hiro asked, as he wanted to personally thank that person.

"Well, one of the Caregivers here, Cherish, found her at the nearby Botanical Garden. Grandma kept telling her that she is waiting for you there."

Hiro felt like someone has just punched him hard in the chest. He then felt guilty afterwards because he is Grandma's one and only family member, and yet, he doesn't spend much time with her...

"---I really am sorry about what happened, Hiro. I assure you that Cherish will give Lola Bien enough care..." Nurse Feliza apologized again.

Hiro nodded in return, as he got curious with her grandmother's caregiver.

"You told me on the phone awhile ago that she was the one who found my grandmother?" he suddenly inquired.

"Yes, that's right. Cherish is actually close to Grandma Bien." confirmed Nurse Feliza.

"Well, if that's the case, I need to talk to her and thank her for taking really good care of my grandma." Hiro decided.

Nurse Feliza smiled in return.

"That's nice of you, dear. Actually, Cherish is a new staff here at the nursing home. She was able to have a closer relationship with your grandmother, and they became really good friends. But I guess you have to thank her another day, Hiro. Cherish's shift is over so she's already gone home. But if you want, I could set you a meeting with her, depending on your schedule, of course." Nurse Feliza thought of an idea.

"Oh, I can just wait for her tomorrow." Hiro spoke.

"Huh? Are you sure about that? Aren't you busy with your upcoming concert?" Nurse Feliza curiously asks him.

"I've already decided to stay here for the meantime with my grandma, even just for a few days." Hiro suddenly stated. He asked Adam to explain his situation to other members and their concert Director, and Adam said that he will handle it.

"Really? You'll be staying with your grandma for a few days? Oh, that's the most wonderful news I heard for today! Don't worry, I'll make some arrangements to put an extra bed on your grandma's room. And I will give a head's up to all of the staff here to give you some privacy." Nurse Feliza relayed, while looking obviously happy.

"Thank you, Nurse Feliza." Hiro thanks his good friend.

"And oh, I'll let Cherish know that you want to talk to her." Nurse Feliza assures Hiro again.

"That sounds good. I can't wait to meet her. And thank you very much for everything, Nurse Feliza." said Hiro.

"Even if you don't say it, I know that you're feeling guilty right now for not always being there with Grandma. But I can assure you, you're doing just okay, and I'm one hundred sure that your grandma understands everything."
