Chapter 4 Alyssa Passed Out

When the butler opened the door stood there stood a beautiful woman who was in her early 20's wearing a red haute couture dress, black coat, and her loose beach wave curls just screamed how she was from an influential family. Old man Zach greeted the woman "hello miss McCormick, long time no see". She stepped into the mansion and said to Zach "no need to address me so formally our family's have known each other a long time, just call me Nicole" with a bright smile.

Nicole turned to Noah and went to give him a hug and said to him "long time no see and still as handsome as ever with a seductive laugh". Noah spoke to Nicole and said "long time no see miss McCormick".

Nancy came running to the door and gasped and squealed "Nicole it's really you! It's been forever! Come let's eat dinner and let's catch up, I believe our cook as prepared some of your favorites from the past". Nancy asked Nicole McCormick how was her studying abroad went since her family wanted her to be able to take over the family business as she was their only child and heiress of McCormick Corporation. Nicole told the Macari's how she loved the experience abroad and had learned a lot and is glad to be back in the states.

Alyssa was kneeling in the study waiting for Noah to come and find out what happened, but he did not show up. Alyssa started to feel light headed and was shivering cold from the wind blowing in on her and her long wavy brunette hair was still damp from earlier and couldn't feel her knees. Once everyone left her line of sight and went to eat dinner Alyssa got up and peeked to make sure no one was around as she opened where the snacks were in and grabbed some jerky and a pack of crackers to fill her stomach.

Alyssa was missing her family since she has not really seen or talked to them much since marrying Noah Macari CEO of the Macari Corporation. Her parents did not like the Macaris from past dealings with them but Alyssa thought she could make her marriage work and spent most of her time trying to please the Macari's and especially Noah Macari the man she loved.

Alyssa went to go kneel back in the spot and her mind started drifting to when she saw Noah Macari at a dinner party at a upscale hotel that was booked out for their high school graduating class to all catch up. Noah never paid much attention to her in high school but she did notice him but was too shy to ever really try and start conversation with him as he has always had this aloof presence about him.

Alyssa remembered that one minute she was at this table watching a few guys play some card games while she was served some juice. Next she was waking up in the same bed as her crush Noah Macari. She was unsure of how she ended up in that room with him and as she went to look for her phone and leave Noah's Grandpa Zachary Macari came looking for him because he did not show up for work the next morning and found those two in the same room and woke up Noah and asked what the meaning of this was and told Noah he is going to marry her since he was old fashioned and did not believe in adult relations unwed.

Noah despised her after that thinking she was the one to drug him and force him in the room with her that night because he was also unaware how he ended up in that room with her and assumed she was trying to use him for his money and status.

Alyssa's first time was with this man and neither one of them remembers and were both victims to someones scheming.

Alyssa thought to herself how unlucky she has been for the last 2 years and took a deep breath and sighed as she could no longer feel her legs and body was trembling from the cold air blowing in while she closed her eyes and curled up with her legs for warmth.
