Chapter 3 Have You No Manners

Once Alyssa was dressed in her warm mauve colored pajamas and she proceeded down to the study to meet with old man Zach.

When Alyssa walked into the study, Zach Macari was sitting on a chair while Noah was standing near the doorway exuding a cold and aloof presence. Old man Zach Macari was furious and thew a book at Alyssa on sight of her, which barely missed hitting her head and fell to the ground behind her. Alyssa took a step back and said "what was that for Grandpa Zach" She was interrupted by Zachary Macari yelling with his face as red as a lobster "you are not allowed to call me grandpa and do not act like you did not know what you did. Throwing you sister in law Chloe into the koi pond. You are such a disgrace to this family".

Alyssa replied "I know Chloe does not know how to swim so if I wanted to harm her which I do not I would have tossed her into the pool but you can believe what you want.

Zachary Macari yelled "I do not know why Noah married someone like you and who do you think you are throwing your brother in law's wife Chloe into a pond?"

Zachary said to Alyssa "since you were never taught manners you will be taught in the Macari residence, you will kneel in this study until morning". Without another word old man Zach Macari opened the office window and let the winter breeze in and made the room cold with the cold December breeze blowing in directly on Alyssa. Old man Macari ordered her to kneel near the open window and she obeyed his request.

Her pajamas did not keep the chill from reaching her skin. She looked up at her husband Noah who after being married for 2 years never really showed Alyssa affection just looked at her with no trace of sympathy. He simply stood there aloofly giving his wife a chilling stare, nor did he say a word and suddenly the doorbell rang.

Old man Zach said to Noah "our guest from abroad must be here let's welcome our guest and go eat" Noah walked out behind his grandpa without even glancing at his wife Alyssa and followed to greet their guest.
