Chapter 7 Disappointed

The Dawn of next day after the mating ceremony, Arix came back looking dull and sullen almost in tears knocked on his brothers door , Armie opened the door to a crestfallen looking guy his brother and knowing what happened opened it wide for him to enter, " brother are we cursed? Why is it difficult to get a mate for us in the family, mother only gave birth to the two of us yet we both don't have mates,did we commit a sin without knowing" Armie looked at his brother and said

"no its not our fault when its time she will appear , maybe she's not of age yet so you cant feel the bond"

"Brother we are lycans not werewolves, we can feel it even if she's not of age yet, but brother i feel so empty inside, did she die?"

"Am i going to be alone all my life like you"; Arix looked at Armie sullenly

" Do you want a beating right now, seeing as you are still joking around i guess you are alright "

"Well, its not like its the end of the world for me Arix said looking better than the time he came in"; we are brothers by blood and by adversary " he said grinning at Armie.

Armie looked at his baby brother trying to act tough and said"yes brothers for life";

" Well, brother you are most definitely going to be pestered until you are dead to get married, so who will you choose";

Armie looked out of the window to the sky then Arix left the room to his room when he entered the room, his bright face became dim immediately sighing out shook his head and thought 'oh well, lets wait till the one for me comes";, he looked up to the sky longingly.

Serena got home worried, she didn't get a mate too, what is happening,she thought her mum and dad came in asking her how it went and where's her mate, she looked at her parents and said " i didn't get one"; her parents were dumbfounded

"what do you mean you didn't get one?" Serena already crying out loud said " i don't know what happened, mum, dad is there anything wrong with me?, Why didn't i get a mate but i felt the throbbing of my heart mum, but i didn't smell anything that night am i handicapped"

"Hmm, you felt the throbbing but didn't smell anything among the makes there, then its possible your mate isn't among them".

" How do i know where he is then do i have to go look for him&qt;

" yes, that's the best course of action now"; Serena's parents started planning her trip to the various wolves district in search of her mate.

Selina hearing what they were talking about snickered "hmm and she was thinking about Arix becoming her mate, now she has forgotten that she loved him after feeling the throbbing what a coward in love she's not as strong as me"; Selina went through her memories of searching for her mate but immediately stopped thinking about it, " let me not think of something rotten now, bad energy get away from me";

Selina called out to Armie through the general mind link that she would like to talk to him.

Meeting at their regular hangout spot, the bar specially made for wolves, whenever Armies walked through the people along the way bowed and called him alpha king, Selina watched him walking towards her and started imagining her walking and people greeting her Queen Luna, when looking at that handsome specimen oozing with sexual appeal with tryannical power walking towards her she started feeling hot all over especially when his eyes grazed over her face ,she started blushing furiously while also trying to be demure and cool, Selina stood up and bowed saying "king alpha you are here";looking up shyly at his face, Armie smiled slightly and told her to seat.

"So why did you ask me out to meet, what do you have to discuss with me?"

" I don't have anything really to discuss , i just wanted to help share your burden, i heard what have been going on and also the rumours that you will be getting married to me" a rumour she started of course it must get to your ears Selina thought.

Armie looked at her in thought, she has grown a lot but she still looks demure as always and thinks of helping me as always, should i follow everyone wishes and marry her?, But said " am sorry for implicating you in this mess don't worry i will dispel the rumours";

Selina almost blurted out agitated don't dispel, but calmed down and said " its not an issue, but if you will let me i can help share your burden am not telling you to get married to me,we can be betrothed to each other first then when things settle we can still go our separate ways and say that we didn't match each other.

Armie thought, exactly what i wanted to do, looking deeply at Selina trying to see through to her, do we have alike minds, well if we do at least i wont need to say certain things.

At the same time Selina laughing to her self in her mind thought about when she wanted to pass by the palace and heard Armie and lugard talking about it.

But still looking at him innocently, then Armie said " Alright i will discuss with your parents about this"; Armie looked at Selina calmly with his mesmerizing eyes.

Selina eyes glowed brightly but still showing a face of calmness with undisguised happiness about to burst through she stood up quickly and excused herself to the restroom.

Selina was so happy she wanted to dance when she got to the restroom but toned it down and laughed a little, "finally Armie is mine, lets see how we will break the betrothal after i have already gotten to you halfway";.

Lucy getting prepared to buy her dress and shoe at the shopping mall, sitting on her bed thinking of the dream she had last night, what kind of place did i dream about, i saw women and men with fish tails, tiny women and men with wings, also wolves running around, what sort of a weird dream is this? But she put it to the back of her mind.
