Chapter 5 Beginning of the mating

After the result checking Mr and Mrs Jones wanted to have a celebratory dinner since that all they could do for their daughter, so Mrs Jones went to the wet market and bought ingredients for Lucy favourite food;(well done steak), as a surprise for her, Mr Jones called Felix and told him of his sister result and the surprise dinner for her then Felix agreed to come back home earlier.

While Lucy was on her bed reading her favourite novel about the impossible love between a werewolf and a human, as she was engrossed in the erotic section of the novel, her broken phone rang shrilly with her favourite music from BTS "boys with love" playing, checking who called her and seeing that its her best friend Eva she picks it up "hello babes, whats up?"

Eva screamed into her ears " did you hear what happened to the holdens family?"

"What do you mean? What happened?"

" Ahh isn't James your boyfriend how come you didn't know that their business went bankrupt"

" What? What do you mean?" Lucy said sitting up on her bed.

"I mean their business filed for bankruptcy meaning they are no longer rich now"

"Why would they just go bankrupt without any issues?"

"How would i know its not my family business, i just wanted to tell you because he is your boyfriend",

Lucy sighed and said " we broke up already he's not my boyfriend "

Eva screamed "what? When? How?"

Lucy stood up facing the window of her room and explained everything that she went through at the park.. Eva was fuming with anger and said " what a fucking bastard, scumbag, foolish hard headed prick" insulting James with all kinds of names and also saying how it was good that the family is bankrupt now as she's sure its his fault that they went bankrupt. After their conversation on James ended Eva brought up the novel she was reading named the vampiress and how she loved the female lead and what she did,

Eva said" how i wish i was a vampire, i would suck the blood of whoever is seeking his/her death by looking for my trouble"

Lucy said " stop dreaming you know they don't exist at all, if they did then what would we humans do,they would kill us all or use us for their feeding or as slaves so don't wish such nonsense "

Eva imagined beating up Lucy in disbelief saying " then why do you enjoy reading the novels since you think of them in such a bad way";

Lucy said " i just think that if they were truly in this world then there would have been a problem between the races because they would be a fight for domination, so i don't think they should be real, they should just remain in my Fantasyland";

" Alright i heard you so how are you preparing for our graduation celebration, have you gone shopping yet? Eva asked then lucy said " not yet will be going next week",

" so when you are going let me know so that we can go together "

" Alright then take care of your self see you next week";

After the call was ended Lucy perceived the delicious aroma that came from making steak, and rushed to the door opening it and stepped out following the sweet and sour scent to the kitchen, then saw her cooking with surprise saying "mum are you making food for your lovely sweet daughter"; trying to kiss up to her mum, Mrs Jones looked at her, " oh, you found out ,what kind of Dog nose do you have, how can you perceive the steak all the way from your room"; Lucy grinned sheepishly" of course why wouldn't i smell it when it's my favourite food besides you know i am sensitive to smells";.

Mr Jones came onto the kitchen too drooling saying " oh it looks delicious thank you for cooking for me my dear wife", trying to kiss her cheeks, Lucy trying to hide her laughter looks at her parents behaving like young Love.

Mrs Jones coquettishly slaps his hands and pushes Mr Jones from her side telling him to go out that the food is for her beloved child not an old man, Mr Jones turned around looking like he was down and abandoned went out of the kitchen.

Before the food was ready to eat Felix entered the house,they were already at the dinning waiting for him, so he washed his hand then sat down at the table congratulating Lucy then brought out the wine he bought for the dinner, so they ate happily.

Two weeks later, Aris a place filled with legendary beings, so many people were walking while chattering, some dancing in pairs in an open space while some are sitting in groups, with a space located at the front with a round table and chairs for the king and other leaders, Arix was anxious and excited but showing a face filled with calmness, he asked his brother " how do you think me mate will be like? Will she be pretty? Or sexy?, I will prefer her to be petite, with long hair, soft dewy skin, rounded buttocks and big boobs"; while mentioning this characteristic, Selena sitting close by checked her body countlessly while he mentioned each characteristics he wanted for a mate, she was filled with disappointment each time he mentioned one.....

Armie lounging on the chair with his chin placed in his palm and elbow resting on the arm of his seat smiling covertly looking flirtatious, all the ladies in the ceremony were swooning and sighing, wishing that they would be married to him, a female wolf said " i heard king alpha will be getting married to Selina because both of them have reached the age but haven't gotten mates yet, another female wolf said " hmm, what do you know, why will he agree to the marriage this time? Although they have been childhood friends he didn't like her as a woman," Selina walking by heard what the female wolf said and was angry, wanted to walk up to them but decided against it, am bigger than them why will i argue with little brats hmph, she walked towards the round table, but at the moment she passed through where the females wolves were having the conversation, another female said, "what do you know?" The other females looked at her with questions in their eyes, the female wolves said " don't believe everything you hear".
