Chapter 4 4

"So! What happens now?". I said, larking behind.

"I don't know Edna, but remember that this marriage, means nothing to me, I only got married to you for the sake of my parents and nothing else, so you better yet get familiarized with what is about to unfold, Edna whether,".

Hansel grabbed the door and left me freezing in shock.

I had some time to think. Before leaving as well.

I returned to the reception.

I stared up, only to find everyone staring at hansel and myself, seeing we both stepped in at the same time.

What is the look? After all, we are married, even though the marriage is nothing but a sham.

I married someone else instead of the one I wanted

Mom comes to me.

"Dear, it's time to go to your in-laws, the car is waiting outside,".... She informed.

I stared around, before leaving with her.

Hansel and his parents both got into the car, and they all waited for me to step in.

With the other car, behind.

"Go dear, I'll miss you,"

.. said, mom

"Yes dear! I will also miss you,".. said dad.

I held both of them together and hugged them as if my life depended on them.

How will I leave with myself now? I am married to a man who doesn't have any regard for the relationship. I loveless marriage.

"Goodbye mom and dad, I'll come to visit,". I said as I waved to the rest of my family standing at their back.

Before hopping into the car with Hansel.

"Let's go driver, now,". Hansel said. He takes out his headphone after that and plugged them in.......

I stared out the window. Mom and dad waved as the car moved, and I did right back......

We left the house. I stared behind, mom keep running after us, she almost fell to the ground, but thankfully dad held her on time.

A few minutes later, we reached the place of my in-laws. Hansel asked me to get down, but arrogantly, he left me looking at the huge mansion positioned before my eyes.

I looked around while moving, not making sure of my surroundings.

Hansel's mom. Mrs. Sara pulled me back on time.

"Dear, look where you're going too, what if you had fallen?". She said, gently erasing her hands away...

I smiled and followed her behind.

We both strode inside the mansion together.

If I felt like the outside was breathtaking, seeing the inside, I almost fell unconscious.

The mansion had exquisite taste written all over it. Whoa, money Is indeed fantastic......

A lady rushed out and welcomed us.

Mrs. Sara asked her to go get my things from the car and while saying that, another was just coming in.

The ladies both wore the same uniform.

They must be workers at the mansion...

"I'll be in my room mom,".. Hansel said and went upstairs...

I stared as he walked away before my eyes. Hansel's Dad, Mr. Fredrick leaves as well.

Right after he asked his wife to take me to my bedroom.

By that he meant, Hansel's bedroom...

"Let us go dear,". Mom said. I shook my head gently and left...
