Chapter 5 Submitting to the She-Alpha

There was a sharp pain at the back of Athena's neck as though something had pierced her. She groaned in pain as she tried to remove whatever it was. She felt the thin long smooth metal in her neck, and her eyes flew open...

A needle??

And suddenly Athena lost control of her body, and she slumped down to the ground, unconscious.

When Athena opened her eyes, she was shivering from the cold water that was running down her body. Someone had dumped cold water all over her, and when she tried to move she realized she had been bounded to a metal chair, and her hands were tied behind her.

Worse of all, there was silver everywhere.

Werewolves hated silver.

Athena looked beside her to see two other werewolves also chained down, and the chains were made of silver! It was Elena, and another werewolf she could also recognize.

Meanwhile, the people who had done that to them were standing right in front of them. They were about four male beta's here, glaring at the women. Athena took a good look at them, but she couldn't recognize any of them.

"You're from Japan aren't you? What do you want from us? Why are you doing this!" Elena had never been the calm one.

"Calm down sweetie. You'll probably find out in hell!" They chuckled horridly.

In hell? Were they planning to kill the three of them?

"Who sent you? What the hell is going on?" She kept on going.

Athena had a strong hunch about what was going on. Alpha Samuwa must have sent them to annihilate Elena, since she was Alpha Gerald's daughter, and they must have found out she worked at X.A empire and since the remaining two women also worked there, they caught the three of them to figure out who was really Elena. This was bad.

"And what would you do when you find who you're looking for?" Athena replied without thinking twice.

Suddenly, one of them punched her in the face and Athena spat out blood.

"You're better off keeping your mouth shut, you're as weak as a human. What even made you a werewolf?" One of the flared all over her face.

"Now I'll ask again. Which one of you, is Elena?"

"None of us is!" Athena growled again

They pulled her hair back, so they glared at her straight in the face " Don't worry insect, we are definitely gonna save you for dessert. So shut up, till we kill your friends alright?"

"I'm gonna ask for the last time, who the hell amongst you is Elena??"

Elena was now shivering in fear. Her head was looking down, and she was trembling and sweating all over.

"It's her!!" The girl sitting on the other side said, referring to Elena. She was the third person that was captured " it's really her. Can't you see the resemblance, or just take her bag and look at her ID, the surname says it all!"

She sounded so desperate for them to let her go.

As expected, the werewolves picked up her bag and saw her ID, confirming she was the one they came here for. The girl who had revealed her was breathing in relief, thinking they were able to free and let her go.

But unfortunately, one of them suddenly pierced his hands deep inside her neck, and blood sputtered out. She was choking, as he kept twisting his hands deep inside her neck.

"You've done your job, now go to hell" he forcefully removed his hands, and her head hung low, blood running down her body.

Her body gone limp

She...was dead!

And next up was Elena. Athena couldn't let that happen, but what could she do? There's silver everywhere, and four strong betas. If it was Neil, he would find a way to take them down and get out of this dire situation.

Athena had no superpowers, she had nothing in this world... just a job and a thousand other werewolves that looked down on her. No one was awaiting her return back at the den, and even if they were then it must be to look down on her again. But what about Elena? She was alpha Gerald's daughter, and even though she was part of the bullies, she didn't deserve death. She doesn't deserve any of this, it's between Gerald and Samuwa so why bring children into this? It's not fair to her.

They shouldn't be doing this!

Athena's hands clenched into tight fists, and she stared dead into her captor's eyes. The way they had killed the other woman should have her trembling right now, but there wasn't an ounce of fear in her heart. There was rage.

An undeniable amount of rage, and a target. She was gonna mess up these betas so hard they wouldn't know what hit them.

It was like everything happened in a second.

Athena saw herself in the middle of a very huge green field, and the sky was so clear and beautiful, the wind blew lightly against her face, and she welcomed the calm feeling. There was no one around, except a little fountain of water standing in the middle of the field. She walked over and looked inside the water, but was shocked at her reflection.

Her eyes were red like an Alpha's, and her canines were incredibly long. But Athena touched her face, everything was still normal. On top of the fountain was a Golden cup being held up by a little shooting water standing at the middle, the cup was golden in colour, and Athena wondered what was inside.

She reached out and grabbed it, before looking inside the cup.

Immediately, the scene changed and she saw herself in another beautiful environment. Athena was in the woods, but the leaves were huge,. forming canopies and they had golden colours too. The breeze was light on Athena's face, and she sat down under the tree.

Everything was so peaceful, except when she looked up again and found that same golden cup hanging on one of the branches. Athena was up the tree the next moment, and grabbed the cup. This time there was a liquid inside of it, silver in color.

without a single care, she gobbled it up and drank it.

It was tasteless, but as soon as she finished drinking it she understood what was finally happening to her.

Power surged through Athena like never before and she easily broke free out of the restrains holding her down. Before any of the betas could even look at her, she already had their limbs flying in the air. And their heads followed, but she spared one of them because she needed him for something.

Athena glanced at Elena who was staring at her, utterly gobsmacked. She hadn't even noticed that Athena had broken her out of the silver chains and gotten rid of them all "Go to the den right away, you'll be safe there!"

And then Athena grabbed the beta who was still alive, opened a portal and walked through it. She had walked into the summit, the secret place where all the Alpha's in the world usually held their meetings. There was a very long circular table in the wide space of a place, and each alpha occupied every available seat. As soon as Athena arrived, everyone turned to look at her.

Surprised at how she got here? She didn't care as of now, and only had one business to attend to.

There was Samuwa, sitting but glaring at her like the other Alpha's were. Their eyes were turning red, and Athena knew what would come next. One of them would kill her for trespassing, and for barging into an Alpha's sacred meeting like that.

But like she said, she really didn't care.

"You??" Alpha Gerald was up on his feet, looking like he was about to pounce on Athena, but she ignored the annoying man and stomped straight towards alpha Samuwa, dragging the wounded beta with her. Athena stopped right in front of him, and alpha Samuwa stood up to his feet.

They should be about the same height.

"I'll kill you!!" He growled, about to land a punch when she caught his hand in midair, effortlessly. His eyes changed to red, and his claws popped out. He was trying to use his strength against her, but it felt as if he was just tickling her. He tried to pull his hand out of her grasp, but it was futile. She was not letting go..

"I just came to talk, save yourself and sit back down!" Athena stated firmly.

"How dare you??" He tried to use another hand, but she caught both hands with just one of hers. His fists were big, but she simply used her fingers to secure them down so he couldn't even move his entire arm.

"When I talk..." Athena gripped his even harder till she heard his fingers snapping. He groaned in pain, but she only added more force, making him cower and take back his seat like a good little boy " You listen!" She growled softly, letting go of his hand.

"Athena!!" Alpha Gerald was approaching her from behind.

She ignored him, like he always did to her

"I'll warn you Samuwa, don't you ever try it again. If you have something against Gerald, settle it with him and do not involve children. This should be the first and last time, do you understand me?" Her voice was as gruelling and deep, making Samuwa cower even more. Alpha Gerald had stopped in his tracks the minute he heard what she had said.

When Athena turned around to face Gerald, he was glaring at Samuwa.

"Athena, what Happened?" Gerald looked like he was about to kill someone.She was even more surprised that he even knew her name.

"Take your seat first!" She barked

He Froze at first, before his legs moved and obeyed.

Athena found myself jumping on top of the table, and standing in the middle. She looked at each and every one of them in the eye before she began "It's not just Samuwa. For any reason, if any of you involve people who are not supposed to be involved in anything at all, whether it's fights, grudges, matches... anything at all because you feel you can, then I would put you right in your place. Trust me when I say I would cut off more than your limbs. Do I Athena Williams, make myself clear?"

The dominance and the thick warning was giving off as she made that speech was very intense. She was baffling even myself, but just kept on going. Every alpha in the room had cower with their head down as they listened to her, and no one dare defy her orders. Athena wouldn't hesitate to Rip their heads off their pathetic bodies!

"Of course," they chorused obediently

She jumped down from the table, landing on her feet steadily "Good."

Athena glanced at the beta who had finally gone limp beside his Alpha. Ha! She didn't even think he would last this long. That's what he gets for killing the female beta mercilessly back then. And with that, Athena opened another portal and jumped inside.

It was almost Five minutes after Athena had left, before an alpha raised his head back again, and the rest followed too. Everywhere was still quiet, still recovering from the woman that had just made them all submit to her.

How is that possible? They've all heard about the legendary She-alpha that was about to awaken, but none of them ever believed it. How can a woman rule against men? Alphas? Alpha's from everywhere around the globe!

Alpha Seamus of Australia finally broke the silence "Summon all top mages, and prophetesses now!!" He spoke through telepathy, and everyone heard him.

This can't be happening!!

Everyone watched in anxiety and anticipation as the prophetesses received the prophecy. Most mages had been summoned too, and the alphas were also there together a few of each of their betas. The top prophetess sat down unmoving for a very long time, and then...she finally opened her glowing purple eyes.

"So?" Someone asked from the crowd, anticipation and anxiety kicking in every one's minds

"It's true. The she-Alpha had awakened!" She declared in announcement.
